Light Fantastic Treehouse **No CC, Starter, Less Than 18K**

Something was strange about the new house in the neighborhood.



When construction began, odd things started happening, lots of glowing and silly pranking and giggling at all hours of the night…and those weird trees, they almost looked like they came from the moon!



A committee of sims (with pitchforks, of course) gathered and decided to go “welcome” their new neighbors…but they couldn’t find anyone, anyone at all. Only faint music from a little dollhouse, with lyrics barely discernible:

East Side, West Side, all around the town
The tots sang ring-a-rosie, London Bridge is falling down
Boys and girls together, me and Mamie O'Rourke
Tripped the light fantastic on the sidewalks of New York....



So they all sighed in frustration, put their pitchforks down, since there wasn’t anyone there to “welcome,” and went to Little Corsican Bistro for some spumoni and animated discussion about whether New York was a town or a type of suppository, since no one had ever heard of it. After a wonderful evening of debate over the latest conspiracy theories, they all went home.

Hunter Cottoneye picked up the tab for all.




Built with a game patched to 1.55 and shinified with Delphy’s Sims3PackCleaner (Custard) to remove any inadvertent cc, this house should be affordable for two sims just starting out. Angler sims, and sims who like rose pink will love it.

Note: I used the "moveobjects on" cheat to place some of the landscaping, so if you fiddle with any of it, you might not get it back into the same place without using that cheat. Also, there are 4 fog emitters on the lot emitting animations that can easily be turned off by going into buy mode and simply deleting the emitters.

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
