Did you think that my Grandma's china cabinet was the only thing I miss from my childhood? Oh, you did? Ah well, it's not. There was this nifty built in hutch in the dining room of the house I grew up in. This version isn't exactly like that one, but it's close enough for me!

Above screenshot: how it looked in the house I grew up in
NOTE: There is a mirror behind the drawers (under the frame). I used the mirror from Nightlife, this set does not come with a mirror!

Above screenshot: the different meshes

What You Get:
2 shelf units - one is a mirrored version of the other
2 1-tile drawer units (drawers do not open, this does not function as a dresser)
2 2-tile drawer units (drawers do not open, this does not function as a dresser)
2 frames (for mirrors - see screenshot) - 1 1-tile, 1 2-tile
17 wood recolors - all Maxis Match, and 25 glass recolors

What You Need To Know:
The repository technique was used. The slave files are clearly marked so you'll know which is the master file and which are the slaves.
The shelves and drawers all have slots. The shelves have 20 - 4 shelves, 5 slots per shelf. The 1-tile drawers have 6, the 2-tile drawers have 7.
No cheats are needed to place any of the meshes. THAT SAID - if you want to use one of the frames over a mirror, you'll have to place the frame BEFORE you place a drawer unit. (Otherwise it will try to sit in a slot, even if all the slots are filled.)
All meshes will work with the quartertile cheat if you can use it.
All wood and glass recolors are separate packages so you can delete any you might not want in game!
All meshes are 1 or 2 tiles wide AND take up the whole tile. You can place them anywhere and they shouldn't get eaten by walls. To make them look built in, you will need to build a 1 or 2 tile bump out!

What May Be Nice To Know:
This set matches my previous under-the-stairs and kitchen storage sets, my fake closets and my china cabinet. Yes, I meant to do that, lol. The glass recolors match the glass in the fake closets - there are a few plain recolors (smoke, blue and green) that are extras. (The fake closets DO NOT have those glass recolors.)
If you'd like to recolor, there is no need to add any shading to your texture! Each mesh has a shading mesh so the shading will automagically be there in your recolors.

Everything is base game compatible. The shelves and drawers can be found in Surfaces>End Tables for 50 Simoleons (1-tile drawers) and 75 Simoleons (shelves and 2-tile drawers). The frames can be found in Deco>Misc for 50 Simoleons. A residential and community collection file is included!
