UPDATE January 23 2015: I've finally been able to fix the 'Intel bug' on these glasses, in which those with Intel graphics chips could experience a splitting of the sim's forearms and chest on certain outfits and/or when using certain colours of the glasses. If you've already downloaded this and have Intel graphics, please re-download. Make sure you have the new file dated 1/23/2015, and let it overwrite the old one.

The new version also adds 5 new colours, so if you've downloaded this item before, even if you don't have Intel graphics, you might like to re-download for the new colours.

Am attempting to convert some of the glasses I made for TS3, and here's the first one finished. This is a cyborg visor for your Sci-Fi simmies, and is for both genders and for ages from Teen to Elder.

It's found under Glasses in CAS, and comes in ten colours, as below: Gold with Black lens, Cyan with Gold lens, Gold with Red lens, Silver with Blue lens, and a distressed brown theme for a somewhat Steampunkish look.

Followed by the new 5 added colours: All Silver, All Gold, Green with Black Lens, Silver with Dark Gold lens for a Geordi LaForge look, and All White for a sort of pseudo-glowy look.

In-game, my TS4 version of Cycl0n3 Sw0rd goes for the funky distressed brown look:

While meanwhile, the Goth family seems to have been abducted and replaced with cyborg replicants:

The visor is not enabled for Random, so you should not end up with Townies being generated wearing them.

Recolouring: This was cloned from the unisex Aviator shades (yuAcc_GlassesAviators) and uses the texture file from that item. It utilises the aviators' texture in the same way the aviators do: simply desaturate and then 'Fill' (using Multiply 70%) the larger left section of the glasses template for the frames, and 'Fill' (using Normal 100%) the smaller right section for the lens.

Unfortunately, because in TS4 the texture size allocated to glasses is tiny, unlike TS3 where it was quite big, it is not possible to pattern these like it was for the TS3 version. The pattern will come out unrecognisably huge and very blurry.

Thanks for looking, hope this will be a useful accessory for your TS4 Sci-Fi guys and gals.
