And of course....another cabin! But this one is different...it's not quite a treehouse and doesn't have a foundation. The trees themselves are its support!
I was inspired to build when I saw this picture:
My first thought is "How adorable! I wanna build that!" And so I did.
I'd have loved to have it look "exactly" like the pic, but the game doesn't give me that option. First one, no terrain! So for those that enjoy this idea I'm also going to build this in Sims 3. I figure it'll be much more on par with the original picture
This cabin is a one room studio layout, suitable for a single sim. It is play-tested and my "test" sim also planted some vegetables so be prepared to take on some gardening
I wanted to add more trees to the lot to make it look like a "forest", but kept them scaled back so they wouldn't interfere with playability of the lot and being able to see what the heck is going on! If you find you still have too many just delete a few, however keep the support trees :D
The outhouse is ground level, so if your sim has gotta go,,,,better move it!
I could have connected the stairs directly to the deck but where is the fun in that!? I was trying to create the "walkway" and as no terrain I made it a walkaround instead. I did have two sims walking opposite directions on it and they passed eachother fine. Seems its wide enough.
The move objects cheat was used, but the upload was tested and worked fine so long as it is installed in build mode as opposed to directly from the gallery or library..
As always, if you have any issues please comment and let me know!
No custom content was used, game items only.
Have fun with it, I had lots of fun building it! :pint:

About Me
I've been playing the Sims since the Sims 1 came out in 2000, and started building lots and creating Sims in the Sims 3.
My favourite builds are worn out, rat infested hovels but I also enjoy the challenge of creating lots that represent buildings in the real world.
All of my lots were created on an iMac, but after getting the new M1 iMac, I've learned some of those lots have graphics issues, so I'm slowly altering them to avoid this issue. I will upload the M1 compatible files when they are completed.
All new builds are completed in Version 1.70 (64-bit Mac). They are tested on a Windows computer and an older iMac running Version 1.67 (32-bit).
