Charles Derr - A Troubled Man

Meet Charles.



Charles is your regular, everyday kind of guy. He has his hopes, and his dreams; his wants and wishes; his angels, and demons. Life at his old home in New Simleans has gotten the best of the poor guy, though, and has made him quite troubled.

He is a sim based off of someone I know; he is about as troubled as Charles here is! His traits are as follows:

Clumsy: Charles just can't seem to catch a break. Every time he turns around, he finds himself tripping over his feet, or stubbing his toe on the bedside table apon waking up.
Coward: There are some scary things living in the bayous of New Simleans, and Charles knows it. This, plus all the trouble he's dealt with, has left him scared of practically everything possible.
Neurotic: Having to take care of a lot of people, putting up with family drama, being harassed and bullied... It's gotten so bad, Charles can only freak out over everything, due to stress.
Perfectionist: Even with all the stress piled on him, Charles hates imperfection. He HAS to do everything just right, without cutting corners, or he just isn't happy.
Socially Awkward: Due to being home-schooled for most of his childhood, Charles has some serious problems socializing with others. It just never seems to end well for him.

Charles was made with absolutely no custom content, and should fit in well in any neighborhood you introduce him to. Except fantasy neighborhoods. He's too... regular.

Install Instructions

Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the sim to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sim file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\SavedSims folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game, enter Create-a-Sim, and save a sim to the sim bin to create this folder, rather than doing so manually. After that you can close the game and put the .sim file in SavedSims
4. Once the .sim file is in SavedSims, you can load the game, and look for your sim in the premade sims bin in Create-a-Sim.

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
