This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Before I get into the excitement that is describing the new creation, I need to get some attribution taken care of: Back when I first sketched the Curvy Desk, I was just copying a photo in an article with no idea what the desk was called or where it came from. Luckily, a few weeks ago, I came across a pic that inspired this file cabinet. When I clicked the link, guess what? It WAS the perfect match for the desk, because they were made by the same guy - Neil Turner, a very talented artist/woodworker. Here's a link where you can see the originals in all their glory.

OK, now... Proudly presenting the Curvy File Keeper:

This item is specifically made to be a companion piece to the Curvy Desk, which also serves as the repository for the textures. In other words, you can't see the textures on this file cabinet unless you have the Curvy Desk in your downloads folder - because the textures are in the desk file and not this upload.

Since there's really no interactions for file cabinets in the game, they just kinda sit there, looking pretty. Not good enough for my File Keeper! My File Keeper needs to do a little work to earn its place on your lots. That's why I added LOTSA SLOTS. There are twelve ( yes, 12) slots on this baby. They aren't all just deco slots, either. In strategic locations, there are table and counter slots, so they will accommodate things deco slots won't, like phones and lamps and big waving ceramic cats.

And, even though I'm biased, I still think it sits there and looks pretty with the best of 'em.

Please note that this object requires another object to work properly. Link: the Curvy Desk

Some technical info:
All textures are EAxis, manipulated in GIMP 2.8.
GUID-D586C154, face count-1486, in-game price-303, Catalog placement- Surfaces>End Tables

Known Issues:

You may need to press "M" key to toggle through the slots, and will probably need to put some placeholders in the lower slots in order to access the higher slots.
If you put anything in the slots that is usable by your Sim (eg., a phone), the animations may be a little off. The heights on this object's slots are nonstandard, so the original end table slots didn't quite match the animation. I experimented with a few other types of slots, but none were exactly the right height.

Tools used:
SimPE, Blender 2.78c

Polygon Counts:
glass- 184
desktop (drawers & supports)- 928
base- 364
shadows- 10

Additional Credits:
I'm extremely grateful for the MTS Community(thanks, Delphy) - if it weren't for all the great tutorials and helpful comments in the forums, I don't know if I could have figured any of this out

Thanks to Quaxi et al for SimPE.

HugeLunatic for the slots tutorial
