Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, and all of the palatial Colonial appeal you could ever ask for!
As you walk past this stately home I'd like for you to imagine living life behind its walls. Picture what your day to day activities would look like should you happen to take possession of this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to own an original Doberyaught-crafted Colonial estate. What's that? You don't know who Doberyaught is?! Heavens-to-betsy, why don't you sit yourself down and allow me to surround yourself with some true architectural culture, you suburban ragamuffin, you!
This construct is known as Pleasantdale. Surely you'll see that it is quite the pleasant sight to set your peepers on! You see, Doberyaught was an architectural mastermind who devoted his works to building some of the finest Colonial estates known to Simkind. His signature use of scalloped shapes on the exterior (such as the siding and even the shingles) are a hallmark tradition on each of his homes. Isn't it unique? Wouldn't you want to be as unique as these scallops too?
Step indoors and allow the palatial foyer to surround your senses with nothing but a feeling of pure opulence. Did you take notice to the ceiling? The "cloudscape" is another Doberyaught tradition which is said to have drawn inspiration from skies he had seen on the many hot days he'd spend picking daisies and daffodils in his fields. The chandelier? Well that would of course be adorned with hundreds of hand-cut diamonds sourced from the finest found in Champs Les Sims. The balconies? Wouldn't you want to step out from your bedroom and take in the beauty of this home each and every morning you wake from a restful slumber?
Let's take to the living room which was surely designed to live within. Did you know that each and every single herringbone hardwood piece was laid by Doberyaught himself? He wouldn't dare trust just anyone to lay such rich mahogany within his build. Space for a bar was considered in this room which will surely be popular with the many guests that wouldn't pass the chance to visit a soire hosted in this estate. As we pass through to the kitchen you'll be taken aback by the expanse this room offers you. If you love to cook (or rather have someone cook for you) then this space will leave you impressed. Plentiful amounts of counter space and a unique corner dedicated for the appliances such as a dishwasher and trash compacter allow you more room to admire the stunning cabinetry. The dining room is of course no less impressive as you could surely fit a grand table in here should you so wish. Access to a private balcony off this room would even allow for you to experience the luxury of indoors-outdoors dining!
As we continue through upstairs you'll be greeted by three spacious bedrooms and two full bathrooms (one being an ensuite). The unique design of this home actually leaves you the ability to choose which room you'd like to treat as your master bedroom! Two of the rooms are large enough to fit the things of even the pickiest of people (those who like to have chairs and other lounge furnishes in their place of slumber). These bedrooms all boast such a great amount of natural light to boot!
If you weren't impressed yet then I beg you to step upstairs yet again to the third and final level. This chamber serves as the fourth bedroom in this estate and is certainly something to take note of! If you were planning on having your own private recluse for you and your loved one (or ones) to spend time within then this room will certainly deliver. Doberyaught was a man of passion but always kept his private life, well, private. This upstairs quarters is large enough for you to spend it as a retreat from your very own home itself! Just let your imagination run wild and see where it can take you!
Now last but not least is our tour of the backyard. As you step outside you'll find a large deck and patio which is absolutely stunning to spend a hot summers upon! You'll be the talk of the block when you host your neighbourhood barbecues out here! Plus, just look at all of the space you have to do whatever you want with! You could frolic out here and be as free as a bird! Doberyaught himself is said to have frolicked in this very backyard! Don't you want to follow in his every footstep and be like him!?
Now don't delay because this home is surely to sell quickly! Once word gets out that a real Doberyaught is on the market we're certain to have hundreds if not thousands of offers pour in! You must act now and own this piece of architectural history today! Four bedrooms, four bathrooms, scalloped siding, a yard to frolic in, what else could you possibly need?!
