Description

A simple UI recolor of the original blue UI. I made it for my prehistoric gameplay so I used images of old paper for the main menu and the default loading screen. Either way, the UI has a luxurious feel and can be used for anything from accompanying the life of the rich and famous to medieval stories about knights and monarchs. It basically replaces all the blues in the game with gold.

Changes to default UI

The Golden UI mod is a resource override which changes the default blue color of the Sims 3 UI. It doesn't change the hue of any color except blue.

Conflicts

You should only use one UI mod at a time

How to install?

Method 1 (should work in most cases)
Like all other mods put it inside "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages" folder.

Method 2
If you have any mods replacing part of the default UI, you have to prioritize the mods load order. "[gogosOVS] Golden UI.package" should be your lowest priority file. To do so create a folder inside "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods" folder. Name if "uimod" for instance and put the mod file inside the new folder. The path should look like this: "Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\uimod
Now edit file Resource.cfg and add following lines at the end:
Priority 499
PackedFile uimod/*.package

Compatibility

The mod uses just recolored, original textures. It should be compatible with any game version but I've tested it only on complete version of the game (all EPs and SPs with enormous ammount of CC).

Tools used: S3PE, Photoshop
