The fourteenth house in my "1920s Series" - inspired by 62 Beautiful Vintage Home Designs from the 1920s - is in what was called the Modern English style back in the 1920's (from what I can gather.) I would probably label it an English Cottage, but I'm not an architect. It says it is "well suited for a suburban district or for a city residential section." It's advertising blurb also assures you it is "not extreme or faddish; [it's] distinctiveness is merely a matter of better architecture..."

I really wanted to reproduce the little swoopy-roof bit over the front door (see, I told you I wasn't an architect!) But I couldn't make the Pagoda roof cooperate. I tried. It was ridiculous. What a PITA that was! Believe me, the house is just fine without it.

When you enter the front door of this house you are in a small vestibule with another door directly in front of you. Behind that door are the stairs to the basement. If you turn right, and go up a few steps, you are in the living room - which opens to the dining room on one side and the sun room on the other.

Please scroll through all the above pictures to see everything this house has to offer. This kitchen has an upgraded appliance package. Upstairs are three bedrooms and a bathroom. Furniture includes a double bed, two nightstands, and a dining table. All plumbing and lighting are included. The telephone is on the wall in the living room. The front door is burglar alarmed. The range and both fireplaces have smoke alarms.

This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer. Pictures were taken with Invisible Fire Alarms in place, but the lot is packaged without that mod. So, you will see the fire alarm over the range in the kitchen, and the fireplaces in the living room, and in the Master Bedroom. Pictures were also taken with the Invisible Driveway, but the lot is not packaged with it. I highly recommend both invisifying options! .

This house proudly uses the beautiful Bespoke Build Set. Thank you Honeywell, for creating and sharing this wonderful build set with us!

CC list - used but NOT included - so, GO get it:
- Unlevel Wall - #90 by Numenor @ MTS2 - used to fix wonky wall issues
- Lifestyle Build Bundle - It's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY. Many of the wallpapers used in this 1920s series comes from this bundle.
- MASTER Arts Crafts Door (1T) by Leesester/LeeFish @ MTS2 - without it the front door will flash blue!
- Bespoke Build Set MASTER File ...without this all the Bespoke items will flash blue.

If you want the chimney to be painted - go get the file from House No 6 of my 1920's Series. It is included as an extra DL file with that house. It is a yellow recolor of the brick chimney (and it won't package up with a house.) It was made by ililas here on MTS2, but I can't find a link to the file anywhere so I included it here as an extra file.

...and I highly recommend getting:
- Invisible Smoke Alarm by pfish @ MTS2
- Invisible Driveway by Sophie-David @ MTS2

Standard mods I use that are not necessary nor included - but were probably used whilst building/photo-ing/prepping this house for upload...
I use Moi's Roof Shader for brighter roofs
Maranatah's White Wall Top texture replacement
Moo's Turn On/Off Lights
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix
BeosBoxBoy's no-red-pause-mod
Nopke's Go Under Spiral Stairs mod for proper spiral stair usage
And, of course, everyone needs Numenor's CEP and SEP!
I also use FRAPs to take in-game pictures, and PhotoShop to clean/collage said pictures.
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror - as per her policy, it's not used or included in this lot.
