Now showing from Atomic Acres is lot number 2 - The Edsel Villa! A home that demands attention and strikes yours eyes with its long concrete pillars, it will surely make everyone envy you in the neighborhood!
Newly built in 1958 and named after the iconic Edsel car, this home is made of sandy limestone, white concrete and bedrock. The Edsel Villa gives off the feel of the natural earth and reminds you of the Art Deco days! A swing dance party will surely be the talk of the evening! It's even cat friendly! What more could you ask for? -looks at you- No...seriously...what more could you possibly want?

No CC was used in this build!

Greetings! This is my second buid in the Mid-Century Modern theme from my fictional neighborhood of Atomic Acres. I was excited about this one the moment I started it. I once seen a home like this some time ago, but in a different color and shape. I love the look of the pillars around the long windows, which bring in a nice amount of light during the day. Even though this is made in style of the 1950s and 1960s, the home has Art Deco accents as well, epecially in the color schemes. I used primarily earthy tones which I think really makes it stand out among the green yards in the game. The home is two bedrooms, one small and one large. The small one can be used for young Sims. There is one bathroom that is completely full. The kitchen and dining areas are seperate from each other due to the design, but I'm sure your little Simmies will find their way. Everything is functional. I designed it for Newcrest, but this lot would look nice placed in the desert of Osais Springs too! Or anywhere else you wanna put it. It's all up to you! There's a nice little patio in the back for lounging as well. Enjoy it.

A minor note: The skylight is actually decorative. I tried deleting the roof for the light to come through several times, but it would merely remove a larger chuck of ceiling than needed - thus rendering it useless if I removed it. This isn't a big deal, and the house is completely functional. Also, the water fountain has floating water because I scaled it down. Also nothing major. It doesn't effect gameplay. You can remove these items if they aren't asthetically pleasing.

Feel free the change anything as you desire.

Please DO NOT reupload or recreate my home designs without my permission! Have a lovely day.
