Updates for Transformation Spells

Any mentions of the Spells will be removed from Version 1.4.

Version 1.6

This update fixes the following:
- Issue with the Occult Picker where it. is blank (reversion to old code)
- Fix for missing files caused from compression (caused by |, swapped to use - instead)

With the second point, for those who has [TD1 | IC], please delete them when updating them as [TD1-IC] is now used to cater to the missing files issue.

Version 1.5

This update fixes the issue with Iced Cream's Hybrid mod regarding the Last Exception on the Reset Perks Picker.

From this update forward, since Iced Cream's Hybrid mod is bundled alongside my mod, you will need to replace the package files from the Hybrid mod. (You can tell that the prefix has changed to [TD1 | IC]).

Should you be wondering as to why the Hybrid script is included rather than altogether in one script file, there were issues trying to integrate it, as such only the interaction related scripts were cloned (and its utils) and the XMLs in the package altered to call from the cloned and modified scripts.

This minor update fixes an issue with Sims appearing in Secondary Form for a occult when supposed to be in Human Form or in another Secondary Form. (Caused by set_pending_occult_types in OccultTracker)

This update adds some fixes to make Werewolf Hybrids stable:
  • Transformation Handling for Switching from one Secondary Form to another
  • Fixed an issue where if transformed into a Werewolf from Vampire Dark Form, Sim cannot change back into Vampire Dark Form (Caused by ManualDarkForm trait)

UPDATE 3.5: Accidentally broke the Rite of Ascension to work with Hybrids. Fixed. Thanks Malcolm Landgrabb for rooting to the issue.
UPDATE 3: Finally figured out the issue regarding why Vampires can't turn other occult sims, so now Ask To Turn and Offer to Turn is now unlocked. Servos can now be a Vampire from regular methods. Also more tunings have been overridden to allow some interactions to be hidden like Ask for Rite of Ascension for Spellcasters.
UPDATE 2: Fixed Instant Vampiric Transformation Spell Action Tuning - Forgot to change to the correct spell to unlock. Thanks Sages of Mastery Magic for repetitive teaching of the Vampiric Transformation Spell.

This mod requires at least two EP/GPs that has an Occult. (Get to Work EP, Vampires GP, Island Living EP, Realm of Magic GP, Discover University EP)

This mod works best alongside Iced Cream's Mods. (Starting from Version 1.5, the Hybrid mod is included in this mod)

Warning: The usage of Hybrids may lead to deletion of Secondary Form, Missing Perks Option and Weirded Out Needs Panel. You were warned.

If you are using Zero's Immersive Vampires Mod, you MUST download the Override (Not in All in One) and place it in the Overrides folder (C:\Users\~\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods\Overrides)

This mod allows the following through Normal Means:
  • Aliens to be Spellcasters
  • Vampires to be Spellcasters
  • Spellcasters to be Vampires
  • Mermaids to be Spellcasters
  • Servos to be Spellcasters
  • Aliens to be Mermaids
  • Vampires to be Mermaids
  • Spellcasters to be Mermaids
  • Servos to be Vampires [New]
  • Aliens to be Vampires [I hope it works now]
  • Mermaids to be Vampires [Same for this one]
And vice versa.


Whereby Normal means referring:
  • Asking and Offering Rite of Ascension
  • Asking How to Use Magic
  • Ask To Turn into Vampire
  • Turn Into Vampire via Vampire Powers
  • Eating the Kelp and Going Into Water to be a Mermaid
And vice versa.

Sims that are in the process of transforming into a Vampire or Mermaid cannot ask to turn or be offered to turn (Not changed) or be casted upon using the 3 spells (Addon Only).

Aliens and Mermaids cannot become a Vampire without the Addon. Read Conflicts and Issues below.

Zer0's Vampire Witches Mod will Partially Conflict with this mod. Read Conflicts and Issues below for Workaround.


Servos will not become mermaids and vampires, simply for the reason that they are bots. The best alternative they can do is to be a spellcaster. It is to be noted that Servo-Spellcasters cannot access their perks panel due to the Humanoid Occult (Servo) coming after Spellcasters. (Use cheats to unlock em) Iced Cream has made a mod that allows perks to be accessed by the motive panel. Link found above.


Conflicts & Issues (Very likely outdated and I have to check em again or smth):

This mod conflicts any mod that changes the following tunings listed at the bottom.

[Partial Conflict & Issue] Zer0′s Vampire Witches Mod - The end result for Ask How To Use Magic and the rest of the interactions leads Vampires to be Zer0′s form of Vampire-Spellcaster (not the actual hybrid that we are talking about)

[Workaround] Use the interaction Ask for Rite of Ascension on any spellcaster that knows the Rite of Ascension spell to become an actual Vampire-Spellcaster hybrid. I?d recommend that the all 3 sages should know of the Rite of Ascension spell as Maxis did not let the sages have it in their spellbook (If the sages know the spell, any sim can walk up to them, say hello and ask for the Rite of Ascension; that?s cheating and skips the fetch quest).

[Issue] (Those without RoM) Aliens and Mermaids Are Unable to Become Vampires - The Turn Into Vampire interaction will not work for Aliens and Mermaids is probably due to Maxis not downright showing the Option for the 2 occults. As for the Ask to Turn interaction, the interaction itself cancels out and the next section does not appear. Due to all this, I have to disable the 2 occult traits in the tunings.

[Workaround] Mermaids can turn themselves back into regular Sims by eating 2 Kelps and then turning themselves into Vampires (1.5 days) and once transformed, eat a kelp and walk into water to turn into a Mermaid.

Aliens, No sadly, you will have to use console to do so.
