NOTE: The edges of this lot are still FLAT even though I put the house itself and playground on a hill.
SECOND NOTE: I'd absolutely love to see any families that you might create to live here!

Welcome to my latest creation. It is an homage to a music album that still means so much to me: Cry Baby by Melanie Martinez.

Thus, I give you the Cry Baby Mansion. I dedicate a room or an area to each song on the Cry Baby album, including the deluxe tracks. Let me grant you a special tour.

Once you walk up the white steps and past the front doors, you enter the "Cry Baby" Foyer. Tears fall all around you, from the numerous fonts, from the solemn paintings, even from the chairs in the corner, blue as water. The centerpiece is a fairy who represents Cry Baby herself, forever filling the four sinks around her with her weeping.

Turning left down the hallway, two large archways lead you into the "Cake" Dining Room. Though none of us should be treated as a piece of cake, you may treat yourself to as many pieces as you like, as cakes abound in this room. Across the room is a door that would welcome you to the front porch, if you so desired.

But we return to the hallway now, to enter the door right across from the dining room, into the "Sippy Cup" Kitchen. There is a plethora of something in this room; can you spot what it is? Poor Cry Baby, sitting in her high chair in the center of the room, is surrounded and cannot escape it.

Entering the double doors at the far end of the hallway, you come to the "Play Date" Playroom. There's plenty to do in this room. Toys are waiting to be played with, the piano and little xylophones are waiting to be played on, and centered in the turret is even a set of "Don't Wake the Llama." Or, if you'd rather engage in intimate conversation with your play date, there's a special set of couches, facing each other, just for the two of you.

A set of dark double doors by the piano leads you into the biggest room on this floor, perfect for those special occasions, the "Pity Party" Ballroom. There's lots of space for guests to dance and mingle, two large sofas for sitting and lively conversation; the back porch outside also provides more seating options, for a "recess" from the excitement of the dance floor. Your friends are always welcome here, whether they're invisible or not.

The outside can wait. For now, let's take the stairs in the foyer up to the second story.

Our very first room on this floor, to the right of the staircase, is the "Alphabet Boy" Study and Library. This room provides many comfy places for sitting and reading, as well as desks and computers for study, and of course, an abundance of books. There's one mysterious-looking bookcase against the wall, but we'll come back to that later.

We return to the landing, and begin to walk down the hallway. The first door on your left leads into the "Teddy Bear" Nursery. In here, you'll find that teddy bears come at you from each and every angle, from the floor, to the walls, to each and every corner. Is everything really "so sweet" in this room, or is there something more sinister lurking?

Back to the hallway leads us to our next destinations. In honor of "Dollhouse," I give you three bedrooms: one for Cry Baby herself, one for Cry Baby's brother, and a master bedroom for Mom and Dad.

Cry Baby's room provides many things to distract her from the less than "perfect" things that go on behind the curtains of this house. There is a door to the upstairs porch, a little "bakery" station, a desk, and of course, many a Dollhouse.

There's often a strange smell coming from Older Brother's room, but don't let that discourage you from taking a peek.

At first glance, Mommy and Daddy's room seems like the place for a picture-perfect couple. The average-family normalcy of it might even border on dull, to some opinions. But while you're blinded by Mom's jewelry, Dad might be sneaking away into his secret room with a woman who suspiciously isn't Mom.

In between Mom and Dad's bedroom and Brother's bedroom lies a little bathroom, my take on the song "Soap," and my personal favorite of all of the rooms in this house. Curtains surround the bathtub, the main piece of the room, a place for a nice private soak. Just make sure not to let your "words" overflood the tub, and "to put the towels all away" after using.

The "Mrs. Potato Head" Dressing Room is connected to Cry Baby's bedroom, a glorified walk-in closet. There are plenty of mirrors around to remind you to "cut-and-paste" and "pucker up." And while you're standing and assessing yourself in front of the array of three full-length mirrors, the rest of the world is looking in at you, too, through the large windows, because it's "how you look and not what you think."

Up the stairs from the second story hallway transports you into a separate world: the "Mad Hatter" Game Room. You're allowed to be as "nuts" as you truly are in this room, and "crazy" fun is not just permitted, but encouraged here. There are plenty of ways to let out that imaginative, creative energy in this attic.

Remember that mysterious bookshelf back in the "Alphabet Boy" Study Room? Only one Wolf once knew the nefarious secret behind it. Pass through the bookshelf, which becomes a doorway, and up the hidden set of stairs. For the double feature of "Tag, you're it," and "Milk and Cookies," welcome to the two rooms that the dastardly Wolf once used to hide a kidnapped Cry Baby. If you've seen the music video, you know how this story ended, and hopefully you recognize the similarities between it and these little rooms. (And is it also a coincidence that the paint used in the room that hid Cry Baby is called "pink slip?")

Outside of the house, there's only two areas left. Walk out onto the porch behind the ballroom, and turn left on the marble path. It will lead you down a set of stairs into a little park, in which I present to you the "Training Wheels" Trail. This trail is perfect for those first learning to ride a bike, and the park provides plenty of benches for others who want to enjoy the outdoors.

Last, but surely not least, on the other side of the house, is the "Carousel" Amusement Park. It can be entered from two car ports in front of the house, meant for some of the many guests it will undoubtedly attract, or from turning right on the path out of the back porch of the house. There's much fun to be had in this special area, and plenty of lights so that the fun can continue long past when the sun falls.

A mod for Perfect Plants is probably best for this house, but I don't personally have the link to one of those. If there are any other problems you encounter, please let me know about it.
