Eco-Modern
Earth Day 2011 Redux
Uneven/Sloped Lot
2 bedrooms - 2.5 bathrooms - garage
- rooftop living - pet ready - patio - swimming/fishing hole

~~~ Now with much less CC! ~~~
"This earth-sheltered house makes no sacrifice of good planning and excellent, all 'round livability."
I hope you have simmies who will enjoy living here!
I originally built this house 10 years ago. It was my first 'build' uploaded to MTS. As I am approaching my 10 Year Anniversary, I've gone back and fixed up many of my first houses (removing excessive CC and fixing routing issues.) Most of these uploads have just had their files replaced with the newly fixed files, but this lot is a favorite of mine, so I decided it deserved a complete redux and New Upload. .
The original upload is still available - with ALL it's CC - Eco-Modern: A Single Story Home On 3 Terraced Levels.
Please enjoy touring the rest of this design by scrolling through the above pictures.
This house is sparsely furnished, and lightly decorated. All appliances, plumbing and lighting are included. The stove has a smoke alarm. The front door is burglar alarmed. The telephone is in the living area.
This is a clean copy of this house/lot; no sim has ever lived here. The package has been cleaned with Mootilda's Clean Installer.
There is parking for two vehicles; one in the garage, and one on the driveway.
This is a pet-friendly build. No pet items are included - but there is plenty of space to add them, both tubs are accessible for dog washing.
Possibly used but NOT included - so, you may need to GO get it:
--- I use the Lifestyle Build Bundle wallpapers/floors ALL the time. (If you followed that link, it's the second link in the top post - extracted from Lifestyle Stories by Argon @ MATY) This 'bundle' lives back in my Bins folder so it doesn't have the CC star. If you ever enter one of my builds and find it has blank/unpapered walls/floors, it is because I used ones from this bundle and forgot to mention it. So, either substitute the wall/floor of your choice, or go get this bundle and re-install the lot (from your lot bin.)
You will also need to get:
--- The blue striped wallpaper used in the kid's bedroom is from my Maxis-Matching Walls: UNTRIMMED set.
--- Unlevel Wall - #90 by Numenor @ MTS2
 Some people weren't sure how to install this wall... Click the info button below to see how I did it
--- I would also recommend getting an 'inaccessible plants' mod for all the plants - I suggest Perfect Plants - Perfect Gardens
Custom Content Included
- NowYouSeeMeNowYouDont (Transp floor) by Frillen @ MTS2
- WoodenStairs-OpenUnderneath by Reyn @ MTS2 - these do need a script file so follow the link and make sure you install them properly!
- RetainingWall Set by tBudgett @ MTS2
- CS Rocks and 1 plant: Originally from Castaway Stories, fixed by meetme2theriver @ livejournal - I used the following:
SpideryPalm/clump
LeaningVolcanicLawnOrn/OutdoorRock-Med1 - MASTER
SereneVolcanicLawnOrn/OutdoorRock-Med3
WistfulVolcanicLawnOrn/OutdoorRock-Med2
ClassicRock/OutdoorRock-Lg2
Lot Size: 4X4
Lot Price (furnished): $87,201
  Standard mods I use that are not necessary, nor included - but were probably used whilst building/photo-ing/prepping this house for upload...
I use Deastrumquodvicis' Roof Shader for brighter roofs
And, HW/Honeywell's A Little Greyer: Roof Trim Defaults
Maranatah's White Wall Top texture replacement
Moo's Turn On/Off Lights
Menaceman's Lunatech Lighting Fix
BeosBoxBoy's no-red-pause-mod
Nopke's Go Under Spiral Stairs mod for proper spiral stair usage
Gunmod's Radience Lighting System, which is installed with the Scriptorium (which is necessary for installing CC stairs.)
HugeLunatic's Sweet Down Low Tweaked + for the ability to shift things up/down on a wall without darkening the item!
And, I highly recommend using gummilutt's Invisible Medicine Cabinet to add features to any mirror.
And, of course, everyone needs Numenor's CEP and SEP!
NOTE: Sweet Down Low Tweaked + sometimes causes pictures, curtains, shelves, and ceiling lights to 'jump' out of place when you first install a lot. You can click the item to put it back in place. The 'jumping' is a side-effect of the mod. It won't affect your game at all (other than the inconvenience of things being initially out of place *sigh*)
