An ancient mesh given a new lease on life.
A long time ago I found a cute hair mesh here on ModTheSims, and I fell in love with it. So naturally I downloaded it and added it to my already ludicrously large downloads folder. I wait half an hour for my game to load and hop straight into CAS to make a sim with this brand new hairstyle, but when I put it on, my framerate absolutely tanks!
So I close the game, open up the package file for the hair, and find that it has a polygon count over over 17,000! For a hair mesh from 2005 no less! Then and there I resolved to give this mesh the proper work it deserved! Until I got caught up in a whole bunch of other stuff and couldn’t touch it for more than a year.
Now this mesh has been given an improved, optimized mesh that won’t take your framerate down into the single digits, and with a True-To-Maxis texture to boot!
The reborn Posh Bob is available for Teens through Elders in all Maxis hair colors in their respective bins.
