Hello, chances are you're confused. Let me explain!
As with my first "Music to their ears" pack, this download is here to expand the lacking selection of songs available on your in-game stereos! Well, lacking no more, because not only do a grand total of eight stations receive hefty expansions, you also get twelve entirely new stations packed with all kinds of different genres of music to broaden the tastes of your sims. What's their next favourite gonna be?
Just like last time, this bundle of music is entirely Maxis Match - meaning that each and every piece of music is either in Simlish or instrumental. No real life spoken languages because I prefer it that way.
I had so much fun creating these different radio stations! Making up artist and song names was the best part to be honest. I also made sure to hide some cheeky memey yet still fitting music inside the different packs. I truly hope you'll have as much fun discovering them and get a chuckle out of some of my awful puns and wordplays.
Just plop the package files into your Mods folder and you're good to go.
Every single track of music was tested in game and works just fine, in the options menu as well as actually in-game. Speakers on community lots can be set to the custom stations and will play these songs without any issues.
The custom station files shouldn't conflict with anything but if you do come across any issues, be sure to let me know.
Note (what a funny pun): Even though Sims 3 Dashboard might claim that the packages conflict with one another, they actually don't, it's a known issue and can be safely ignored.

This is a recreation of the New Wave station from The Sims 2 Open for Business, but I felt that the amount of original songs was a bit too small, so I added a few on my own. It's like Synthwave, but retro!

Having played the saxophone for several years and been a part of the school's jazz and big band, uh, band... I always loved this station that came with The Sims 2 Bon Voyage. It's back with a vengeance now! Not only does it include all of the original Sims 2 songs but also the Studio Town map screen and shop speaker songs from The Sims Superstar (I even researched their real names and composers!) and, on top of all of that, a nifty selection of some famous and just plain awesome pieces of swingy goodness. Roaring Heights, anyone?

I might live in one of its neighbouring countries (for now), but France is my absolute favourite place on earth! The landscape is beautiful, the language is beautiful, and why are so many French people so dang beautiful?
Ahem, but to get back on track... (wahey, another funny pun!)
The French station from WA included some music tracks from The Sims Makin' Magic - but not all of them. UGH WHY. I went ahead and added all others that fit the theme of Musette music as well as some others I found online (let's just say, YouTube got rather confused when my search history suddenly included "Stereotypical French Music").
Have fun translating the artist names and song titles by the way, I had a blast coming up with them!

This was in interesting experience, to say the least. After having heard the Smooth Jazz and Lounge songs from the console outings of The Sims, I was amused and fascinated. Tranquil music to chill out and have drinks to, this gives a whole new dimension to the many lounge types in Late Night - don't you think so, too?

The piano has to be my favourite instrument ever. Why? Because the range of emotions you are able to evoke with it is so vast and seemingly endless. Be it a minute of pure joy, a silent moment of deep thoughts; be it giddy cheekiness, utter dread, whistful longing, deep sadness or just the raw melange of unfiltered emotion when listening to Hans Zimmer's Time... I tried to capture so many different aspects of solo piano music in this mix, and hopefully did I succeed at that. Take a listen!

How disappointed I was when finding out that such a ubiquitous and well-liked genre of music was absent until so late into The Sims 3's life cycle, and when it got finally re-added, it was a measly five songs recycled from the original Sims. Prepare for one of the most intense expansions to finally do this poor station some justice and make it actually usable!
