Description
This is a replacement mod that incorporates a few simple edits to the walk animations of YA/A male Sims and all Elders.

By default, these Sims walk with a permanent smile formed on their face, even if their current mood doesn't necessarily warrant it. All other Sims (children, teens, YA/A females) don't have any facial expressions baked into their walking animations, which means they will remain neutral when necessary, while also being able to make any in-game facial expression while walking.

I edited the Adult male and Elder walk animations to get rid of the constant smiling, bringing them more in line with other Sims' walk cycles and hopefully making them look a little more natural.

This mod only affects the default walk cycles from the base game, so all other walkstyles (related to moodlets, occult status, walking canes, etc.) remain intact.

Compatibility
  • This mod will conflict with any other mod that replaces the following CLIP resources: a_male_walk, a_male_walk_short, a_male_walk_fast, a_male_walk_fast_short, e_male_walk, e_male_walk_short.
  • This mod is compatible with mods that edit other resources related to locomotion and walkstyles. I use other tuning mods along with my own and they work all right together!
