Update: Hi! I know some of you are waiting for me to upload the non-default version of these templates, but I want to put it out there that I don't know when that'll be. The process of creating default face templates is MUCH shorter and easier than non-defaults, and I don't exactly know when I'll get it done fully. Thank you for your patience!

27 new faces to replace maxis’ templates!

Hello! Face templates have always been both a mystery and a wonder to me. They’ve enhanced my game so much and I really like changing them up from time to time to create diversity in my neighborhoods, so when I realized that I had a good bunch of self-made good and interesting-looking sims, I thought about making my own, first set of face templates. Therefore, after some research and more than one cup of coffee, I share them with you.

ABOUT THE FACES
A good percentage of the faces in this set are sims I’ve made (mostly using randomizers and thanking the sims heavens for giving me good-looking offspring) and saved up during the past year. Some of the faces you see here are sims I’ve played with in my custom neighborhood “Revale” (hence the name of this set), and I decided to bring them here. Don’t worry, though! They’ve all been tweaked and fixed, and I’ve made sure they look good in all ages and genders.

I completed the set with some new faces I came up with, and I also threw in my sim-self that ended up looking nothing like me, but is really cool anyway!

FILES
The downloadable file contains individual files for each face template. They will replace the 27 maxis templates in your game. I have not included an alien one, so the maxis alien face is still there. I’ve also “humanized” the elf template, but if you don’t want it replaced, you can just take it out. Remember you can only have one set of defaults in your game at a time, so if you already have default replacements, you’ll need to take them out for these ones to work.

Tip: remember that with any set you download, you can pretty much pick and choose whatever you like. If there is one face you don't think you'd like to use, you can simply remove the file.

CREDITS
The skins I used for the previews can be found here.
The eyes used for the cover art are here, and the eyes in the previews are here. Those two are some of my favorite sets!
The extracted face files are here.

I hope you enjoy them!
