The Fish Tank Eco Home

You’re going to sleep with the fishes tonight! But don’t worry, that’s meant completely literal! This eco home is built like a fish tank, allowing you to experience life as a fish.

Optional challenge: Close off the basement, and place your sim’s bed where the stairs used to be. By limiting your gameplay space, you will simulate a smaller fish tank. Don’t leave it. Are you still comfortable in this house?

Packs used:
Cats & Dogs pack used for the fishtank
Island living used for the fish balloons

Keeping fish is more complex than many people seem to think. There are many common myths and misconceptions that can be harmful to the fish if not corrected. Round bowls, small tanks, and unfiltered waters are just some of the problems that can endanger the health of your fish. It is therefore incredibly important that anyone who wants to keep fish, first researches what is actually beneficial for your animals.

This mod shapes this issue into the form of an eco home, so that players can consider this issue from the viewpoint of the fish itself. By doing this, this mod connects to the ‘nonhuman turn’ that has happened within philosophical thinking. The nonhuman turn attempts to decenter the human perspective by considering other forms. For example, forms such as animals, affectivity, bodies, organic and geophysical systems, materiality, or technologies.

Experience life in a fish tank, and keep your actual tanks healthy!
