Does gnome theft leave your sims frustrated and exhausted? The Ultra-Gnome 3000 is the answer! Available in the four standard colors, the Ultra-Gnome appears no different from your garden variety gnome to the untrained eye. It is equiped, however, with a variety of potent countermeasures to protect your gnome collection from any would-be assailant.

WARNING: Do not kick Ultra-Gnome. Do not attempt to steal Ultra-Gnome. Do not look Ultra-Gnome directly in the eyes. Do not stand within 100 feet of Ultra-Gnome.

Gnome should no longer make young adults pregnant. Added a few other checks. Also, if a sim is ineligible for a punishment that is randomly selected for them (e.g. wrong age group), it falls back to some other punishment, rather than letting them off the hook. An upgrade is recommended for all users of older versions.

I found a bug that should have made things not work, but it didn't seem to cause a problem. I've fixed it anyway, because the code was definately wrong.

Fixes a bug in the new countermeasure. Users of all older versions should upgrade.

Fixes bug where neighbors "jump out of" stealing sometimes and adds new countermeasure. I wouldn't normally have put such a minor update, but the new countermeasure is awesome, and I wanted to put up a new version so I can work on a new hack that will actually be useful. :-)

-----------------------------------------

Inspired by XLStormyLX's Electrocution Gnome. This works a bit differently - the sim goes through the kicking animation (or, if stealing, most of the stealing animation) before being given their punishment. Also, electrocution is just one of the possible outcomes.

This is a beta-testing object. Use at your own risk. Backing up your game before using any hacked object is always recommended.

I'd like to hear some feedback on how this works or situations where it fails to work or produces an error. It currently has seven countermeasures (I had written nine but one doesn't work and one doesn't look very good yet). This is my first real foray into object hacking, so it's still a little rough around the edges.

I plan on adding quite a few more countermeasures as well as some pie menu options for configuring it. If you think you have a good idea for something doable, feel free to make a suggestion. If you feel like modifying or redistributiong Ultra Gnome, feel free to do so, with the exception that you may not post it or modified versions for download on any pay sites. I'd like to have the option to include any modifications in future versions, but that is not required.
