This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Help JWoods. I am working on better versions of this mesh and I couldn't do this without him.

He's not the only one that has helped me but he has always been a kind and immediate source of advice, please help him.

I'm doing this without permission from JWoods or Delphy who administrates, and I could get into serious trouble but please .

Hia, I've been tweaking these for a while. They are rather high poly (and I apologise but using gmax the normals - we'll that problem is yet to be cracked). All I can suggest is that, unless you have a powerful system, treat them with caution. I have no problems with them at all and my pc is definately not top end. They are all using the colour options for the Club Distress so each of them can be left out or removed without affecting the colour options of the others. They are:

Connectable 1: Armchair 3004 polys
Connectable 2: Single seater section 204 polys
Connectable 3: Single seater section with right arm 1604 polys
Connectable 4: Single seater section with left arm 1604 polys
Connectable 5: Corner unit 1632 polys
Connectable 6: End unit with cushion 5204 polys (I know! phew!)
Connectable Loveseat 1: Independant loveseat (ie with two arms) 3604 polys
Connectable Loveseat 2: Loveseat section (ie this one they can sleep on) 204 polys

And a bunch of recolours too. I hope they're ok!

9th of September Update (if you're happy with the above versions don't download these because they will overwrite the old ones - same guids).

I've remade, remapped etc the whole set because I found out how to affect smoothing using GMAX with Wings (thanks to Numenor and JWoods!). These, physically, look slightly different. They're chunkier, but much smoother. Most are lower poly also:

Armchair :1768 (was 3004)
Curved corner: 824 (was 1632)
Single seater section: 456 (was 204)
Left Arm and Right Arm: 1112 (was 1604)
Left arm with cushion and right arm with cushion: 2100 (was 5204)
Independent Loveseat: 2148 (was 3604)
Loveseat Section: 836 (was 204)

Right, some of them are higher poly! I got a bit fancy remaking these. I had to cut each piece in half because I wanted the texture to be mirrored on the x axis (I thought they'd go together better) so that automatically doubles the polys because you have to slice down the middle. I also bevelled all the edges between each section to make them look chunkier (maybe that was a mistake!).

However, in the new set there is an extra portion (now there are left and right ends with cushions) and, even with the extra piece, if you have one of each the total poly count for the set is 12,456 compared to 16,860 in the old set.

I suggest, if you're not sure, make a backup somewhere else of the original connectable set and test the new ones out, then (if you prefer the old ones) return them to the downloads folder.

It has taken me ages to do these over, I tried to use a different base object to clone (the Serenity Sitter and Barocco Loveseat) because I thought that would make them more versatile - having two recolourable parts. That was a hideous lesson in how much more I need to learn about slave and master objects! So, they are all still using the textures from the Club Distress - and there are eighteen colour options in this zip so they will all appear in the Club Distress colour options too (sorry about that). And also, as hard as I tried, and with numerous remapping experiments, I can't get rid of the line of colour from the arms on the far zooms. I improved it but couldn't get rid of it.

Anyway, here they are. (Mops brow and sighs).

The last screenshot should give you some idea of what the difference is.
