This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Hey peoples....

Polygon count has now been corrected. Everything posted should be the correct numbers. Just a note for all you modders. Watch out for programs that only count quads. Look for triangle counter MEL/Max scripts if you can.

------------------------------

Towel bar and recolors. I seperated stripes and plain colored, so you can choose what you want to download.

:::::UPDATE::::::4/01/05

Matching soap dish + recolors. You can place them by pressing ctrl+shift+c then in the textbox at the top, type moveobjects on or you can boolprop it. Reply here if you don't know what that is.

:::::UPDATE:::::4/02/05

Hey guys. I made this today. I was unsure if i wanted to submit it, but after i got the recolors done it matches well with everything else.

:::::UPDATE:::::4/08/05

As per requested, A heated towel rail/warmer thing for loverat. It's moderately poly heavy so if it slows your game down, then KILL IT. :smash:

::::::BONUS UPDATE::::4/09/05

I didn't plan on making this but looks like i made it anyways. lol. I gave it a cool little metal germ guard so it kinda looks fancy. Place normally, but if you want to do as i did, moveobjects on, then boolprop. hope y'all dig it. yea, i made the both parts recolorable again... These all go together.
http://www.modthesims2.com/attachme...tid=50475&stc=1

:::::UPDATE::::4/13/05

I present to you a bunch of junk to clutter your counters with. Ever try box modeling a razor? You should do it. You will learn new things... :nod: I only squeezed out a couple recolors because I ran out of stuff in my bathroom to look at. Place with moveobjects on, then boolprop to get them perfect. For those of you who use these codes alot like myself, you should add them to your userstartup.cheat like i did.
http://www.modthesims2.com/attachme...tid=51740&stc=1

::::::UPDATE::::4/22/05

Here is that blowdryer i said i would make forever ago. Sorry for the wait. Place with moveobjects on. Not really meant for boolproping because of the cord. This is recolorable, but i have not made recolors yet.

I love this set! Especially the bathroom clutter. It looks so real, and is a lot like how my bathroom is. I have tons of bottles and things cluttering up my bathroom counter. Any chance you could make a liquid soap pump that can be placed where the soap dish goes so all my houses don't have the same soap. Plus, I think liquid soap would show up better by the sink, anyway for pics.

okay, you want a suggestion for additional bathroom itms?. how about a over-the-toilet shelf unit? one that matches your towel warmer would be nice, it couls have stacks of towels in it. Oh and a set of bathroom brushes for cleaning the toilet. (perhaps with a plunger?)
My mom had a little shelf with an "air fern" in it on the wall with a sign above it that said "We aim to please, You aim, too, Please".
I really like the bathroom clutter. the toilet paper is sharp.

Hehe...dewwy is fine *snicker* No one else seems to have read your first post :D. the over-the toilet rack comes from my own bathroom, and has a matching magzine rack. It seems that my husband and I do a lot of reading in the bathroom,

Oh ah, thank you thank you thank you for making everything stay up I don't know if hugging is allowed on MTS2, but here is one anyway *hug*

The new clutter look amazing, I can't wait to put it in my game. And not that I understand that polygon thingy very well, but the things seem to be perfect for those of us who want lots LOL.

Anyway my suggestion for more stuff is a blow drier. Don't you think our simmies could need that? And they might also need some aspirin

lyran the poly thing is pretty simple. basically the more polys that are in an object, the harder you computer has to work to render each of them. When it goes over it's limit you get lags, screen jumps, all that stuff. I have had objects in my house that well exceed the limits of my machine and i did not like it.

btw :wave:

LOL....Like this? .

Although I think it would be a good idea to make it look more like it matches the towel warmer. Kind of more a modern look, really.

Of course you won't ever get out of this thread. As long as you ask for suggestions, you will get them Looking forward to the blow dryer and thanks for explaining about polygons

Is there a fairly easy way to check the polygons for an object, or do you need to know how to create objects first? I have been using SimPE for editing sims and replacing Maxis defaults, but I have no knowledge on object making -- yet
