I've not been playing Sims 2 much lately, and I'm only just now working with a new town using ONLY my templates to start with. Thus I'll have a town where Sims based on my templates will be breeding only with each other. I'm curious to see how the children turn out. I've heard a few complaints that it still doesn't solve the problem of later generations becoming uglier, but I don't know that there's any real way around that problem. Maxian genetics being what they are, over time things just tend to break down. Still I typically only play a town to 3-5 generations before I become bored and start over again. Maybe I just don't play long enough to see the ugliness really get bad. Or maybe it's just that I'm just really selective about who has children. lol

One thing is for sure, I LIKE having townies and NPCs that aren't constant eyesores from sim day one.

I have long nightmares with big mouth from Sandy Peterson and married to my green alien and 4 kids are monsters and Benjamin Long damn him his silly long nose and ugly chin. My 2, 3 and 4th generation sims have suffer look uglies.

Excellent! Just what I was looking for, I don't want all cute and too similar templates in my game. These seem to be pretty much the same kind of modifications I would have done myself I wasn't too lazy.

Just yesterday my sister was playing Sims and complaining about very ugly Townies and NPC's. So she would love this much as I do.

Can I ask you something? I wonder can you put asian/indian face in Sims because
I think it's not fair that in Sims there no all races...

If I want new race I need to download from internet every time and mostly they are bad skins.

First of all I want to say that I love using your face templates, they're a nice mid-ground between ugly maxis and the too-perfect faces some other people have made.

I also wanted to let you know that it seems like someone has come up with a fix for face #21 and #25, in case you'd still be interested in updating your templates.

The default faces had gone waay past the point where it wasn't funny any more.
But I don't like having 'perfect' looking sims. So this is perfect. Ha.

Thanks! I really got annoyed at all Sims having fat or long noses, and even long mouths. Now we can all have normal looking Sims!

I do have one more question ^^
Does face 1 overwrite the head that's used as a 'model' while making clothes, skins, ... in Bodyshop?
Because I'm really searching how to do this (I'm trying to make a certain excisting character,
but it's really hard to make his skin when the head is different)

Now I have a question, I know that everyone is saying that this mod will not change Pre-Created Sims/Default game families and such. What I am wondering though is this - If I have a complete brand new fresh install of the game & have not even opened the game at all, & install the templates first then start the game for the very first time - will it generate the those particular Sims during the two cups of coffee wait for the game to get started? I'm curious to know if the default families are actual pre-made objects or are generated at game start - if you get my meaning?

Hi, Simenator. I'm still learning about default townies myself, but it comes across to me that they are in fact pre-made sims with complete character files, meaning that the faces you see in-game are the faces they will always come with. If townies with fresh-faces is what you want, I think this tutorial will prove to be a great help:

I'm currently in the process of converting DFRs like yours into non default for my own use. Do you have interest in adding them to your upload? At the moment I have converted only one of your files and it takes approx. one hour to edit one of them, but if you say yes I'm happy to give you copies of them when I'm finished.

I love these more realistic sims. I'm okay with not everyone being "beautiful", but I'm not okay with everyone being deformed! A few people, sure, but most people aren't deformed, and I'd like my sims similarly non-deformed! Thank you for more normal sims!

They're perfect! Completely perfect! WAAAYYY more pleasant and realistic than the Maxis defaults, but still unique and maxis-matchy. Now my townies will look like themselves, but still acceptable. I especially love the C-ban face - the maxis one is notorious for it's fugliness, and yours is so pretty <3 Really good work, thank you!
