This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

***Major UPDATE*** Now takes colours from original bookcase (including recolours) ********** 29/4/05

Hi Guys,

Would you test this for me please?

Made with SimPE v 0.35, Milkshape and Mesh Tool, it has its OWN unique (registered) GUID ... (so it does not replace the games own version) is in addition to it...(so you can have your symetry! :howdy

It is EP ready (though not required).

UPDATE: This bookcase now draws ALL its colour options from your existing bookcase...including any recolours that you have (or will) download).(see pic 3)

You cannot recolour this....(indeed, you don't have to). It now has NO texture files... it uses the ones from Maxis (or your recolours)

(My apologies to the 810 people who downloaded the original version: This new verson (dated 29/4/05) will simply overwrite your existing download and enable all your existing recolours automatically .)

This is NOT my is simply Maxis's mesh ...flipped! the polygon count is the same as Maxis's.

It functions exactly the same as the original, it is the same price..and in the same place in the catalogue. (It should appear next to the game's original.)

OK... no stars for design today...but the people in the thread seemed to want it so much, I thought I'd give it a go...

Please report any issues...and thanks for testing

There shouldn't be any problems as this was a flipped mesh. Thanks for coming up with the idea to do this, Bob. Great work!

Wow! You are the greatest. This was very much needed. I don't use this in my game because it looks odd, like it is missing part of it, causing a very unbalanced look. Now thanks very much to you, I can use this in my game. Great work, I will try this tonight. I have used everything you made and have had no problems, so thank you again for all your great work.

I agree! This is wonderful! I have never used this bookcase because it didn't have a "partner" to round off the other side. I do have one question for you, Bob: Will your bookcase use any recolors that we already have for the original Novellas? Thanks so much!
#24 Old 27th Apr 2005 at 1:18 PM
Bob, I'll test anything you make ( with pleasure)!
I think that I have everything of yours, at least I hope so, and everything looks good in game, Your the Tops.
Thank you. PS looove the vertical blinds! ;D
