He can cook all recipes from his list, but the list doesn't show every recipe present in my game.

And about the mod for more meals, this is it:
http://www.modthesims.info/download.php?t=498764

Your chef can cook some of the meals from this mod, but not all of them. I gues the missing ones could by prepared on the turkey base, and your chef can't cook the turkey (it's not on the list).

I just finished testing the 1.5 version in my game for several hours and found no issues. I tried it in a single household, with roommates, even with the new bistro stove and ran into no issues. The only thing I didn't test was the multiple houses aspect, but I can do that later if needed. Looks fine to me so far, but I'll be interested to see what others say in case I missed something.

I didn't test it, but I can't see any problem. The Chef can cook custom recipes too. If the recipe isn't available that means: you don't have all the required appliances, ingredients (needs to be buyable at the grocery store) or the recipe isn't learnable or cookable (has cooking steps).

EDIT: I guess the recipes aren't available because requires Egypt World. The game doesn't grant these recipes automatically.

Just so you know, I have all EP's and SP's installed. I loaded the refrigerator with everything needed for all recipes. But the chef's menu is extremely small with basically breakfast items and burgers and goopy carbonara (sp?). The 1.4 version chef could cook everything whereas this one is a rookie

the recipe list is generated by meal time. morning => breakfast only.

Well, My Sims can normally cook all custom meals. Can you try once more if the chef in your game can cook turkey (EA meal), cause in my game he doesn't.

Mine can't either. Each meal period is very limited selection.

ok, i found the problem with turkey but now you can't ask to cook "single serving only" recipes. but isn't a problem because the only recipe affected is Ambrosia and the chef can't cook it by default.

I don't need the Chef to cook Ambrosia, I can get it any time with other mod (NRaas Debug Enabler). I will test this new chef

I wonder if you could try to make this mod work OK with NRaas Overwatch, cause the chef disappear after 3-4 sim days. Or maybe he could get a payment for each day, not after a weak. This way he\she could earn some money (The Chef disappear without his money).

How are you? So the Mod doesn't work at all with 1.55 Patch, not even your 1.5v you listed above ?

Changed:
- Now it's a recurrent service (starts at 6AM and leaves at 23PM) to stop the basegame constantly vanishing the npc after a few days because it looks stunned (same happen with Buttler).
- The chef sometimes perform a small movement to stop the basegame constantly vanishing the chef because looks stunned.

I tested and everything seems to work. Are the recipes limited to the only ones learnable or is there a way to get the chef to use the wood oven from the EA store for pizza, bread etc.

I've been testing this mod for some time, and it works as it should, no bugs at all And it is great, cause the chef don't disappear, he keeps coming back to work every morning.

Chef Service - v1.6 (07/sept/2013)
Fix: The Chef won't cook for Mermaids, because they eat Kelps.

I would like to thank you and also say that with the mermaid ((least with mine anyways)) they eat mainly kelp AND fish, but also eats human food with less filling/satisfactory but it still fills and this would be useful for mermaids on the run. ((This is especially true with twallans nraas hybrid mod))

The chef won't appear at all. though I generally have that problem with both the chef, gardener and EA's butler

oh, overwatch? that might be my problem

If the butler isn't working, so I believe your saved game got corrupted. Try the mod in a fresh neighborhood.

Not having a sandbox mode works well for the Gardener, because they come, do their job and leave, but the Chef NPC really needs a sandbox mode. The Sim tends to just stand around path blocking other Sims almost all the time, and it's a pain to keep clicking "route away". It would be nice if they read a book or something else between cooking/cleaning.

Would also be nice if the Chef and Gardener menus were a sub-menu of the service menu, to make it easier to remember where the options are - they are a service Sim after all.

use the "service room".

it's possible to set the "Service Room", the place where the Chef will wait when idle;

To set a new Service Room just click on any LightCeilingLamp ("Chef Service > Save as ServiceRoom").
