This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

I just have ambitions and no core mods, the window is the full length window that isn't open, I haven't used any of the full length open ones yet, thoughI have used all of the smaller windows and none of them have had a problem

Morphead, my game is also crashing when I select the condoesque window with the right side open, I believe the package name was [MED-WDW-01C]. I placed two of these windows right next to each other in a house last night and today when I went into it, one window was partially walled and the other was fine. It is the walled window that causes crashing whenever you click on it/use the sledgehammer. I have the newest patch for Generations and a core mod (dark pool's mod over at SXS2).

Caddy01, I had no problems once I moved that package out of packages folder. You can see the name of the window in one of the screen shots morphead provided. HTH.
THANK YOU for that morphead :D

How long has this been going on? Since the latest patch or since release? I'm determined to figure this out, I haven't updated to the most recent patch yet.

I did use these windows on the same lot before the newest patch without issue. I had to organize my dl recently and accidently reset the house. It was at this point that I had to patch my game and like I said, last night I put the window in and today was the first time I had an issue with the window. Oddly, I had no problems with it last night, it was only after restarting the whole game that this happened.

I must have forgotten to address you this matter. Sorry about that. It started the time when this pack was freshly released. I selected your windows and moved them to the wall, then... the game just crashed immediately.

Note: I updated the game to the most recent patch, newest EP, with Twallan's MasterController, no Awesomemod.

I installed Generations yesterday, even though I'd had the 1.24 patch installed since it came out, and found some issues with a few other windows. (Since the 1.17 SNAFU, I check all windows and doors with new installs!) I built a wall and put about 8 windows side-by-side and, for a few windows, after about the 6th window, the next window/door will make the entire wall disappear. It doesn't happen with most of them but....I can even place a window on the wall that DIDn't have that effect before and have it make the wall disappear. It seems as though EA may have screwed with the masks again!?!

EDIT: I wrote this while I re-downloaded the file and it appears that my dupe is fixed. Thx!

BTW, I put your windows on the wall, which is how I found out about this duplication, and didn't have a problem with the wall disappearing or the game crashing. BUT, I put a door (not yours) on the wall and it crashed, went back in, put the same **** door on the wall and the game didn't crash.

Hope this info helps some.

Slap this Stuff Pack to EA's meshers and this will definitely put them in shame for their fugly stuffs! Best of all, its free and I think the only payment we should give you is by giving you praises for a job well done :-)

Also I think it's not yet 1.26 or 1.29 ready yet. So I have to check back someday.
