This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Now the Simstone car also works with Numenor's "Cars without Nightlife" mod

Fixed a bug that caused errors and "jump bugs" in non-OFB games.
Also tweaked the required cooking skills: now serving the grilled slices requires the same skill than preparing a single portion.

Just a minor tweak: the "rear externalizations" are a bit less frequent...

Fixed a bug that prevented the sims to use the car to go to work or to community lots.
Also, fixed a little bug in the catalog (now the car can be recoloured as a whole, it's not split any more in 2 separate subsets).

Fixed a bug that blocked autonomous cooking by the sims.

We've taken you to the 50's with Retroville, We've sent you to another dimension with The Weirdo Zone, Now go where no sim has gone before.... (ok not outerspace but) Back in time to the Presimstoric Ages.....

This Themed set is complete and covers almost all aspects of modding. You'll find a Custom Career, Vehicle, Neighborhood Decor, Clothing, Furniture, and Body Shop items. There are 75 New Meshes in this set and an additional 100 or so recolors for these items.

The Mod Squad Team is: Boblishman, Numenor, Exnem, Xanathon, CynicalChick, Faylen, Niol, GeneralZoi, TiggeryPum, Marvine, FalseZen, Kavar, SuperFly, and Lyriclee

Thank you to all of the silent members of the team, and to the staff for all of your contant feedback and ideas!

All meshes work in all game configurations except those noted such as the Vehicle and the Garage door which will need Nightlife to work.

All Items in this set fall well within the Maxis suitable poly counts so no worries about lag.

We'd like to encourage all of you to create new pieces to match the theme, or recolors.. Let us see what you do with your Prehistoric Sims! If your recolors or prehistoric items are good, we will post a link in one of our reserved slots below.

We hope you enjoy our latest set

Ya-ba-daba-daba-dooooooooooo! Yuppy, a brand new EP, far better than maxis FFS which I bought only because some of my downloads didn't work without it, and this one is for free!!! Amazing work guys and girls, you are definitely talented people! A big thank you to the entire Mod Squad team, for taking the time to make it, for sharing it, and most importantly, for making it free.

I'm personally overwhelmed by the extremely kind and enthusiastic comments I've read so far; I hearthly thank you for your positive feedback, for it's the only reason that induced me (all of us of the Mod Squad, actually) to put such a great effort in bringing you this set, and the other creations of ours.

I just feel a little unconfortable with the comparison between us and the Maxis team: we operate in such a different environment, and with such different motivations, that really no comparisons can be done. With all the faults and lacks that this game can suffer for, it is still an incredibly complex and marvellous piece of engineering work.
As a modder, I can only be proud to have been able to create - in team with the best modders around - something comparable to the level of complexity that Maxis has made us used to.

I've finally started my Journal. Information only, no questions.

My latest activity: CEP 9.2.0! - AnyGameStarter 2.1.1 (UPD) - Scriptorium v.2.2f - Photo & Plaques hide with walls - Magazine Rack (UPD) - Animated Windows Hack (UPD) - Custom Instrument Hack (UPD) - Drivable Cars Without Nightlife (UPD) - Courtesy Lights (FIX) - Custom Fence-Arches - Painting-TV - Smarter Lights (UPD)

I *DON'T* accept requests, sorry.

Who needs stuff packs when you have amazing sets like this one? I'm very proud to have such amazing talent here on MTS2. It definately blows everything else out of the water. :P

Numenor, I think the point is that a lot of people feel the "stuff packs" are just thrown together without as much attention to detail or time and effort put into it as, say, this set. So naturally the comparisons occur when you have the Simstones having 170+ items (including meshes and recolours), and stuff packs having less than half of that.

Sure the working environment is different but it's the final product that counts, and you guys have made one that is simply amazing.

Story books are full of fairy tales, of Kings and Queens, and the bluest skies.

I love you all for not only putting in all this hard work but sharing it with us!!! I was always a flintstone fan growing up and would draw pictures and make little cutouts to create my own little world. But you guys have gone lightyears ahead of that or should that be stoneages!?!?? HystericalParoxysm was definately right it's way better than any Maxis pack with tweedly little bits and bobs. I hope people are inspired to create some interesting things you all certainly inspired me!!! Thanks again!!! XXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
