I seem to have the same "non bug????" affecting my counters. I looked and looked in all the posts, and I don't see this counter culture connecting element the "cute little sign" is telling me to download. Can you help? Thank you.

I feel like I'm solving a riddle I even tried placing something on the corner counter (sign really). Kinda funny just floating. I also tried removing the global mod, same sign.

I've seen that in the hanging modules pics, too.

Are you missing - by chance - a corner counter?

28 OCT 2006 - UPDATED: GLOBAL MOD
This new version of the Global Mod extends to the Maxis counters a feature already existing in our custom counters: the large appliances installed under the counters will not show the metal sides.

The new Global Mod will hide the metal sides of the large appliances even if you mount them under Maxis counters.
Only exception: the Maxis dishwasher, when mounted under a Maxis counter, will show the back panel (not the sides).

On the other hands, our custom trash compactor and custom dishwasher will fit perfectly under any Maxis or custom counter, even without the Global Mod.

Please note that the Global Mod is optional, it is not needed for the Chez Moi custom set to work. The purpose of the Global Mod is to make the Maxis counters look better, and more consistent with our custom counters.

I really hope your next matching set will be the epikouros counter one.

It was very funny doing the CCulture, WayCoolinary and ChezMoi sets, but it was also fatiguing! -

I am so confused on what the global mod does

The global mod does two things:
1) makes the top of the Maxis original counters look better, and more consistent with our set;
2) when you mount an appliance under a Maxis counter, the counter will have wooden sides to cover the metal parts of the appliance.
