This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Have you noticed that in TS2 there are no outdoor wall lamps? Yes, you can put an indoor sconce out of your front door, but the result it's not nice, in my opinion.

So, though 3D modeling is absolutely not my preferred subject , I've created this outdoor metal lantern.
The lamp has two recolourable parts, and each comes in two colours: a dark rusty brown frame coupled with a yellow glass, and a white frame coupled with a white glass.

Additional recolours for the frame and/or the glass can be created in the usual way (Object Workshop); note that the glass is textureless, and can be recoloured only editing the Material Definition.
Style:

      Outdoor

They're perfect and much needed, too! Yay Numenor!!! :D

If I'm French, Scottish, Irish, and who knows what else, how come I always have to check the boring "white" box?

I've just joined this site and started downloading new meshes about a week ago. I've been a recolour download fanatic since the game came out but only recently decided to 'take the plunge' into the new meshes, I finally got over my paranoia about them crashing my game!

Anyway, I've downloaded already thousands of fantastic new meshes and their recolours, and this is the first one where I shall actually post a reply.

THANK!!! YOU!!! This is awesome!

SilkStockings, what happened to that gorgeous Avatar you used to have? This one is cute, too, but... well I preferred the old one!

EDIT:
OK, now it's better! :D

Ohh thank you so much Numenor! I have been wishing for a nice looking outdoor wall lamp. This was one of my favorite textures in Sims 1.
