Assuming you have Nightlife EP and the Inge patch installed in your downloads folder (SharedIsSofaASectionalGlobal.package), the sofa should work unless you have another patch that affects modular (connecting) sofas.. I have all EPs/SPs + both global patches from IngeJones and the sofa works perfectly.

Nice! I've always wondered why there weren't modular sofas such as these already in the base game. Pretty innovative feature!
