This is a global hack, so it changes the maxis juicer and is not a seperate object. Normally, the juicer can only hold about 55 items. With this hack, you should be able to put as many as 20000 items into the juicer. Make sure that you don't have other hacks that also modify the juicer BHAV constants.

Excellent looking hack mike. Going to have to give it a try and see if it throws some confilcts with the Veiw Recipes hack installed.

Can't wait to throw this in Macrotastics and stock the fridge. "In red, Soviet Russia, you don't run juicer, juicer runs you!" <--(a quote in honor of Pescado)

Bug reporting?
I have all EPs, including FT.
The game worked fine, I added this mod, and then the game would not even show the startup screen... I tried it a few times. Then took out the mod, everything fine. Added mod, not fine.

So... I'd love to have a FT version eventually. :-S

Success is getting up one more time than you fall down.

Well, the only possibility I can think of right now is that there's a conflict between this and something else, not necessarily another mod, in your downloads folder after installing FT. I only updated the information on the thread to say this is compatible with FT after I had checked both the new FT code and tested it in game. I also have all previous EPs. So FT alone, cannot be the reason why this is causing the crash. And the ugly truth about the way mods work, and CCs in general, is that in a situation like this (if my assumption about the conflict is correct), it's very difficult or impossible to find where exactly the problem is.

btw, you can test, if you want, by putting this in a FRESH sims 2 user profile (say in a new windows user account), to see if the crash persists. I'll also have to wait to see if more people report the same kind of crash.

This is a global mod, meaning it modifies the existing juicer and is not a seperate/new object.

You actually have to enough ingredients in the juicer for the serving options to come up, typically 6 times the amount of each ingredient used for a single serving. so for example, to serve a tray (6 cups) of eggplant juice, you need 6x2 epplants, 2 for each cup. btw, the serving options are made by Maxis not by me. I only increased the capacity of the juicer and added the check contents option.

Thank you for this mod! I don't recall seeing the serve option either and always fill mine to full so I"m guessing my desire to have some of each kind in there limited my ability for "serve". With this extension of the limit, surely I'll see serve now Thank you again! This is great!

PS. I happen to put boots in my juicer also, not sure why but I do find it comical. lol They also make it to the wall and are used as "gifts" for other sims. ;-) It all depeneds on the sim I'm playing and "their ways".

EDIT: For the first time ever I got the "serve" option, love it! Thanks!!! Now they can drink a variety of drinks easily.. It's a keeper!

It would be great to have this mod updated for AL... I installed AL today and was upset to learn that all my items are "lost" at this time since the juicer isn't compatible with AL.

PLEASE update it... This mod is one of my favorites since my Sims are always gardening these days...

Thanks...

What did you exactly mean by "lost" ? I tested all my mods weeks ago in AL and my juicers seemed to work just fine and I've updated the page to indicate that the mod is compatible with AL. If the mod is causing problem in your game, it would be helpful if you can be more specific in your description of the problem so I know where to check to fix it.

Thanks Mike:

For me, I do not have the "check content" as an option on the menu. Also, each time I attempt to add or remove items the game paused and even doesn't restart.

I just installed AL last night after waiting a while to do so. Once I get home this evening, I will explore a bit more to answer any follow-up questions you might have for me....

Thanks for looking into this too...

ps. the reason I suspect the mod is perhaps partially working is because I have a lot of veggies and fruit in the mode before installing AL. I do have the option to make all the juices that are available too. I suspect that if the juicer was limited, I'd not have as many options too. This is why I said "lost" as such...

Mike:

I am able to confirm that my infinity juicer is working now. Maybe it was just a simple power down and on again that reset the mod or allowed the game to bootup correctly with it installed.

Thanks again for the update and the assistance..

Cheers,
