Don't have the Expansion though.

Maybe you could just pack the objects together (which don't need the EP as you said, right?) so that all the people without EP can use them too?

Hi, makabaer, I'd be happy to do that for you, but I don't know what is EP only in this package. Here's a list of the objects that I cloned to make this:

Grillinator "Big BBQ"
Exceptionally Expensive Clothing Collator
Canonical column
Show and Stow produce bin
Veggie stuff produce bin
Up Up and Away column
Old fashioned Change room

If you can tell me which of those Maxis items you don't have then that's the one.

None of the objects work for me. I only see a bunch of posts, and the default objects you used.

Well that's really odd. Did you check your catalogue? Do you have the EP? I don't quite understand how that could be. Any more information would help.

I have the expansion pack. I opened and saved the file, double clicked it and hit the install button. I opened the sims and found your lot in my house bin. When I put the lot in and entered it that is what I saw.

Try the new download at the top of the thread, it should work now.

Thanks,

My word this is the most brilliant work I have seen in ages. I have not been so excited by any "expansion" items for the sims since Makin' Money... er... I mean Makin' Magick ;P I so love medieval things. Now make more of it please please please

Sorry Brasstex, it dossent work and I'm pretty shure i know why. The Sims2 packaging system *dosen't* pack meshes unless there specificaly designed to. As the base foundations are cloned ingame objects the lot defaults back to there origional states.

I'm pretty shure if you hunted down all the object meshes and archive them up for download it would solve this bugger

Yep, I have the same problem as scooterfifty8, and the lot after entering looks exactly like on Bink13y snapshot :-(

Same here. When I enter the lot, all the objects there are Maxis' default.

Thanks, Bink13y, Don't be sorry to me, I am sorry to you. I changed the download so it will work now. It's too bad these don't package easily on a lot, but they're still fun to use for movies and gameplay.

Brasstex

EDIT: I've been considering this, and I just want to make sure that everyone understands, if you package these on a lot, and upload the lot, the objects will revert to originals for some reason. If the downloader ALREADY has my fairground objects installed, your lot WILL work, if they don't then they will need to come get these before downloading your lot.

At the bottom of the first post in this thread (on the first page at the top)

It's called: BTXfairparts.rar

It's NOT a lot. It's just the individual parts of the lot, all seperate. You have to put them in your download folder, after unpacking the .rar. I tried to make a lot at first, but that didn't work, sorry. You can make your own cool lot using the parts though, and it'd be a lot more fun that way anyway.

That's what I though, judging from the file name. But I like your screenshots. The uploaded lot will not work even if I have everything in the download? It's a shame it doesn't work.
