i posted a while back on this thread but can you please put all your flag files into one or two folders because it is really tiring to download thirty five things in one post.

sinterneters: I believe I posted a while back that I will be making a monolithic package of these.

General Note: I've just about gotten life back in some sembalance of order, so I'll be resuming my projects as time allows. Moving to a new place is always umm.. fun?

I really appreciate the Mexican flag but i have one question? where do i find it in my game?

You need the main flagpole mesh. The Mexican flag is a recolor of that. It can be found under Decorative>Sculptures.

And still, I am bombarded with requests for more flags - glad to know so many are enjoying this! I will be filling requests, as well as posting a full list of the various flag abbrivations, to help lighten the load of requests for flags that already exist.

It's been a while since I've been active, due to a number of real-world going-ons. I've moved, bought new hardware, been playing around with Oblivion, and a few other things only I need know about. Needless to say, I'm still here, hanging on!

Hey man, awesome flags. The attached file is a picture of the image on the right shoulder of the military uniform for the default military career in the sims 2. Traditionally, for most if not all naitons in the real world in the modern day, the right soldier of a military uniform has a picture of the nation's flag on it, so I assume the attached picture is a pic of the simnation flag. It would be awesome to have a simnation flag. Please?

Wow - I absolutly cannot make out any details in that picture. It's so tiny and dark.
I could make such a flag, if I could actually see it =)

Try taking that picture during the day, and at a higher resolution.
The flag images I've used for my flags have all been at least 800x600, while the more ornate flags have been 1024x786.

Well I'll try that, but how about this for a description, as I got a good look at it: A white oval in the center, with a dark blue background. The top left corner has an equilateral triangle, white, completely filled in. The top right corner has a non filled in white triangle, that looks like a v, with the lower pt pointed at the oval. The bottom right corner is the same as the top right, with the pointed part pointing at the oval. As for the bottom left, there isnt much. Basically, the white oval has a straight line connecting from the oval to the end of the image. Good enough, or do I have to play with the camera in the game?

Playing with the camera would be better - though if it is part of the default military uniform I may be able to track down the actual texture used, locate said insignia, and use that as a base for a flag texture.

Ok, I played around with the camera, and these were the best 2 pics I could get.

Still nighttime - can't make out the details, but at least I recognize which uniform it is, so I can pull the base texture and actually look at it. Give me a little time on this one....

k. Sry it's nighttime, my sim goes to work at nighttime, and until I get an expansion pack, it won't do the day/night thing. Sorry, if he gets a promo and it's in day time, I'll post a pic of it in daytime

Wow - I finally pulled the texture for this, and the insignia in question is so small it's indecyperhable... I'll have to try to find some other way of getting a look at this.

Update: I was able to find a better version, in the LIFO for the uniform. But the details on it are still... eh at best.

To get a good daytime shot, just get your sim on screen whenever, go into Buy Mode, and click the Day/Night toggle. This way you won't have to wait to get promoted, and can get a good daytime shot.
Get as close as possible, and this might just work out alright.
