YES! I have been waiting for this! My sim is in love with the paper girl and she will never grow up... So this will allow me to move her in and grow her up finally. ^_^

What is history but a fable agreed upon?

Yeah, weird huh? The paper delivery people are all teens and I did not think about the "no grow up" possibility when I allowed my teen to form a relationship with her. Now he has grown up and she is still paper girl... The Sims 2 site said you can persue relationships with MOST npcs so I thought it was feasible at the time. Lol!

thanks guys! I try this to make the townies move in to a lot and age too. But i'm thinking about the automatic generation of the teens and kids townies to replace the others. Since the game don't have this like a main feature i don't know if this will happen. I'm testing to figure out if will not be a problem for this mod. If you find something wrong let me know.

It worked great! The only thing I ran into with the papergirl is it was really hard to get her to change out of her yellow uniform and change her hair. I had to do it about 3 times to take. No there are no problems.

I think that paper-people were probably not meant to move in seeing as how they are teens and all. Otherwise perfect!!!

Weird though - she had a unusual high amount of skills. If we are not meant to be able to get them in our families why do the come with so many skills? *ponders*

Sounds like she was meant to be a Sim Vac victim...

This mod will make the interaction "Propose.../move in" for all ages. The NPCs and townies are included. I made a few tests and work great. The toddlers weren't included.

Adult to teen = no problem
teen to adult = no problem
teen to elder = no problem
teen to kid = no problem

I don't tested yet with others types, so if you are interested just download the file.

This is my first try to make a modification on BHAV things. I don't know if this is 100% stable. I just made the action don't check the Age Test behaviour and enable the pie menu function to childrens and teens. Very simple and basic.

And another thing: the menu shows when the relationship is at a higher score.

i'm a brazilian guy... so sorry for the bad english.

Ah this sounds wonderful! And ALOT easier than what I have been doing to age townies. Thank you so much for this. I know there are many who have been wishing for this hack. I'll post if I run into any problems

Excellent, thank you! Marsha Bruenig was getting out of the Townie pool one way or the other, but you've just made the job much easier.

Works beautifully for me. Finally I don't have to move them by SimPE anymore. Well done.

TNTMemphis - i don't think so. You can be friend of the reaper? This mod only affects the NPCs you can be friend. sorry for that. But you remember me of the Social Bunny. You can interact with him. I don't know if the interaction shows up for him too. If so, maybe this will be a bad thing... it will be able to cause problems in the game. Not sure.

FW Schultz - put in downloads folder. The interaction will appear when your sim have a good relationship score with the other.
Hmm, What does this do?..
#22 Old 14th Nov 2004 at 3:27 PM
@pinhead
The Social Bunny is in the 'Service NPC' family, just like the maid, mailcarrier, police, newspaper kid, etc. More then likely, if you ask a Bunny to move in, the game will generate a replacement one if its needed.

Thank you so much for this mod

Is it bad that I spend more time figuring out how to change data outside of the game rather then changing it inside?

Are you sure about that, loco? I will go to test this to make sure that will not go to cause problems in the game.

Yes, I'm sure it will generate new Bunnies. My current 'hood was started from scratch - no service NPCs in it at all. All of them, including a Bunny, have been generated automatically when the game needed them.
