Okay, this is my first upload to this site, i hope you enjoy it... It's a new career, the Death career. Basically, you can become a Hearse Driver, a Funeral Priest/Priestess, a Soul Harvester and Death Itself, just to name a few of the job positions. I have tested the career and it works fine in my game, i gave it a unique (or so i think) ID tag number, so if it overlaps anyone else's custom careers, please tell me. The worst problem i know of is potential grammar mistakes. Everything else should work fine, just tell me what you think.


*UPDATE 2/22/06*

I have created a version based off of the Science Career track, so non-graduates can become employed as well.

Download the new version and unzip it into your downloads folder. This new package file will not overwrite the old career so I also suggest you delete the old version, labled "deathcareer.package", unless of course, you have some sentimental attatchment to it... :skull: Enjoy!

*UPDATE 8/03/06*

Well, after about a three month absence from this site, i have decided to pick up the death career again! Between a nasty computer crash... into the floor... and work and summer school, i will complete this career. Unfortunately as the way things are now, I don't have OFB, or anything after Nightlife for that matter, so as soon as i get those, i can make some more adjustments, but in the meantime, hang tight as i will be trying to fix the science over-write problem, among other things. Thanks for you patience!

the horseman dont really have heirarchy each one would need its own carrer for example fammine could have levels like, fast food sales person(l , fashion desinger(all those skinny models) and inventor of food , needs lots of work i know,

but if u wanted to do apocpoltic carrer i guess that would be much easier to do starting with the 4 lesser horsemen , 1,snivels 2,fear 3, panic 4, kaos 5, pestilence, 6, pollution, 7,fammine. 8, war and death , im missing a level i know but im sure sombody else could come up with somthing , even its its only a obessive nerd as level 1.

Just throw it in the downloads folder. You could make a sub-folder exclusively for careers if you wanted to. Just throw that into the downloads folder too. I think you have to use newspaper cheat or the inSIMinator to get the job in-game though. I've heard lots of problems.

It doesnt work in my swedish game (im from sweden)! If You want to, i can make a version thats in swedish, but i dont know how to do that. If someone told me how, i could fix a swedish version.

When you click the deathcareer.rar, you download it, then open it, then extract the file deathcareer.package into your downloads folder. Good luck and have fun!

Okay, i think i know the problem with not finding it through a newspawper or computer. I've heard that the careers introduced in the University EP are only available after you graduate college. I based my Death career off of the paranormal career track, which is a university ep career. So, i'm not sure and my computer isn't with me right now, but i'll check as soon as possible.

H! Confused and worried because I cannot find how to locate this career? I put the career helmet on and your death career wasn't there? Please tell me where I should find this. On another problematic note, I put it teaching career EP and my home in veronaville refused to load up so I had to delete it. Any ideas??? I'm desperate!! Thanks anyway!! :insane:

Re death career. I solved my problem. I got my sim to look at the painting of the waterfall (simslice) thus maxing his interests. I then found the death career on the 'find a job' on the pc. This career is road kill option. I figure if you download the 'jobs a plenty' from simslice you should be able to get to the top of the 'death career' options. Thanks a mill' Steve! Makes a great option for the morbidly fascinated like myself!
