This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

These wings are an accessory and can be worn with any clothing, and yes I know there are other wings here at the site , and they are all very good, these are my take off , I mean my take on wings for a sim, and I hope you enjoy them.

The mesh is included with the clothing package in the zip, and both files must be placed in the saved sims folder for these to work.


These wings will work great on teen through elder male and female sims, they also work on children and toddlers but look a little large for them, they were made for teen through elder.


THESE WINGS MAY NOT BE USED ON THE EXCHANGE or THE SIMS RESOURCE, If anyone would like to create recolors for this item Please post them here on MTS2 , and only MTS2 with a link back to this thread so the mesh may be downloaded. Thank you

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Place in Downloads Folder: Cut and paste the .package file(s) into your Downloads folder:

Got a question: Would it be feasible/difficult/impractical to combine these with a regular glasses or sunglasses mesh, so a character could have both at the same time? Just wondering...

I know it's posible, since they are downloadable earrings and watches that sims can wear with their glasses. But I never test this yet with the wings.

A request from me, can it be set so that when sims wears their swimsuits, they can keep their wings? It seems like they remove the wings, just like glasses when they went for a swim.

I agree! I love the wings and would definitely love a black recolor. That way I could have both Crowley and Aziraphale!

AHHHHHH ANOTHER GOOD OMENS FAN!! *High fives* I've got both the boys, but if I want them to have their wings out I have to take off the specs.

I'm thinking of making "Angel" and "Demon" careers just so they can have the right job titles. *grins*

I could swear I did see a black recolor of these somewhere, but now I can't remember where... *puzzles*

They are really lovely, but the link seems to be bad. Is anyone else having trouble? The zip link just takes me to a "This page cannot be displayed" page. I'm hoping it's just an anomaly. I'll try again tomorrow!

Thank you, DBCAB! I really like your wings. In fact, I already have a few sims that use them.
However...
I'm no snob about wasted space so that doesn't bother me, but is there any chance that something could be done about the texture mapping? That reversed section makes recoloring the wings quite a chore (see below).


The last time I, personally, messed with that sort of thing was in Quake 2 and I'm afraid this stuff is out of my league. :fallen:

These are just gorgeous, but would it be possible to have a smaller version also? Nobody seems to have done small wings, except for Dr. Pixel's little faux fairy wings based on the child outfit, and while I like those too, they don't suit all winged typed.
