Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
The Central Park of Sunset Valley, as we know it, is nice and all that, but one would mostly hang around in only two major spots of that whole lot; the grilling area and the fountain. So it's really a waste of space to only use one third..jpg)
Goodbye Central Park, Hello Town Center!
All the shops scattered around Sunset Valley has been combined to fit and replace the Central Park lot. Your sim would now save time travelling from one vicinity to the next. Everything is within a walking distance. - It wouldn’t be called a Town Center if it wasn’t!
You only need Base Game for this lot to run. No CC.
What’s in the Town Center?
.jpg)
Rabbit Hole Buildings
- Diner
- Spa
- Offices
- Bistro
- Groceries
- Bookstore
- Cinema
.jpg)
Park Features
- Monument (1)
- Restrooms (MF)
- Gazebo (1)
- Fountain (1)
- Grills (4)
- Chessboards (2)
- Playground area (2)
- Plenty of benches and outdoor tables
- Seeds and insects spawns*
* If you have Pets installed, by default, small animals (turtles, rodents, etc) will occasionally spawn there as well.

Special Upgrade (For storytelling purpose)
- Diner’s Drivethru Lane
- Diner’s Drivethru Booth**
** If you have WA installed, you may place the Food Register in the booth, but you would have to delete the parking lot because everybody would be angry at the car for blocking.
_ _ _
Sunset Town Center has been tried&tested in-game and is functioning well without a hiccup. The Grill-A-Thon even got held here. And working sims (full or part time) who have a job in these buildings also went to work smoothly (you would need to delete the existing rabbit holes in your town, so your working sims would go to the Town Center's vicinity).
The Town Center was made before Pets and Seasons, with the latest patch 1.42, and tested with and without any mods (nrass and the likes). Works fine. // Do let me know if you're using it with Seasons.
Hope you'll enjoy this lot as much as I did making it. Please don't hesitate to drop feedbacks.

Quick Guide:
1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.
2. Select the .sims3pack file you got from extracting.
3. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
5. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Select the house icon, find the lot in the list, and tick the box next to it. Then press the Install button below the list.
6. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the lot to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
7. Run the game, and find your lot in Edit Town, in the premade lots bin.
Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.
