This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

Hey all!

Today I bring you yet another 9 OMSP's. Included in this set is 9 new OMSP's, the first is a new Table one because I've heard Ariffrazalin's reverted back. The rest are for stairs, for the bay window from OFB, two for half walls from OFB and NL and 4 for each of the bookcases that have a flat top.

The stair OMSP might be an object with the most slots ever created (well unless somebody else has made an object with 16 slots). Anyway, I added 15 slots (1 was there originally) which are the exact same height as all the steps on the stairs, so you can place something on every step if you like. Anyway, I hope you enjoy these.

Information

There is 9 OMSP's with 9 recolours. All of the OMSP's were cloned from a coffee table, so if your object can be place on one, it will be able to be placed on these.

Instructions
Stairs:
To place something on the stairs, put an object on the first tile of the OMSP. To move it up a slot, press m. NOTE: It will only go up 5 slots, then return to the first one, but if you place objects in those slots, you can place them higher up.

Placement:
To use these OMSP's, (you'll find them in "Surfaces/Miscellaneous" in the game) you need to buy them and place them on your lot. Buy the objects you want to put on them and place them on it. Use move_objects on and boolprop snapobjectstogrid false (if you like), to place these in the desired position. Once you've got the right position, place them and select the design tool. Use it on the bit of the OMSP showing and select the invisible recolour. Your Done!

FAQ

Q: Will your sims walk up the stairs if the OMSP is placed there?
A: Yes!, I made the object, object and sim intersectable, so your sim can walk through it.

Q: Do these revert back after you exit the lot?
A: No, they stay invisible.

Q: Do you take request?
A: No, but I take suggestions and ideas.

Policy

Objects: You may recolour these (not sure why o.O) but dont include the mesh, you can also include these in lots BUT you may NOT include any of these in your lots on the Exchange. Do not upload my stuff anywhere else without my permission.

Polygon Counts:
All (excluding the stairs): Poly Count= 12
Stairs: Poly Count= 192

My end table OMSPs haven't been reverting, but I wanted to suggest that if you do happen to redo the end table slot package, you might clone it from an end table, so that you can have clutter on end tables next to beds (since, as far as I can tell, only end tables can be there or the Sims won't get into/out of bed).

Just a suggestion if you do happen to make a new end table OMSP.

Marvelous job, the stair ones come in handy a lot, and I keep adding bay windows to my bakeries now so I can overflow them!

Suggestion? What about ones for Decra chills and OFB shelves? The two shelf levels and then the top for the decra, and the shelf levels for the, er, shelves; so objects could be more crammed together without the need for a hack, such a Numenor's. (I suppose it might cause the dreaded restock sign bug if someone tried to sell, but it might be good for decorative purposes.)

You are the bomb!! When OFB first came out & I saw that the bay windows were stupid I said "THERE THEY GO AGAIN!" (Maxis) I needed items in the windows at my stores & YES now at home I can put neat pillows or plants in them!! Thank You for helping to make our homes much more realistic with ALL of your OMSPs!!

Thanks very much for these - it's a wonderful idea and the variety of OMSPs allows for endless decorating possibilities!
I had a suggestion for a possible future project; the spiral stairs made by Marvine in this site would look incredible with stuff arranged on each step.
...thinking about it, though, pehaps your current OMSP for stairs could be arranged to do the same thing. If that's the case, please ignore me

Thanks again for all your hard work!

Wow, sooooo great!! I love it so much for story making. Is there any chance one will exactly fit fences, e.g. on a porch? (I do tend to put water glasses and stuff there.)

I was wondering if there is any way to make something that would let them stack? It occurred to me that if you have one that has slots the height of stairs, one that has slots at 2/3 the height of stairs, one with slots at 1/2 the height of stairs, one with slots spaced at 1/3 the height of stairs, and one with slots at 1/4 the height of stairs, it would be possible to mix and match to get virtually any height you might need if they were stackable. (3/4 is left out becaue it is 1/2 + 1/4) A gap of less than 1/4 the height of a step is fairly easy to mask.

If I had to give up mods except one- I would pick OMSPs. Thank you for making the game better. It is so much fun to fill my sims homes with little treasures in realistic ways.

A: Yes!, I made the object, object and sim intersectable, so your sim can walk through it.

Could you tell me how to modify another OMSP to be intersectable? Whenever I place endtables on both sides of a bed and use ariffrazalin's endtable OMSP to put some stuff on them, my sims cannot use the bed. Would making it intersectable help?..

Brilliant! I love it. I was quite surprised that you can't place decoration on some places in The Sims 2.
However, I have one question, what does OMSP mean?
