What a good idea! I do actually like having something reminding me which things are CC, but the wrench icon is pretty obtrusive.

Updated with additional versions that override the thumbnail icon as well. See info in first post.

Is there a way to remove the wrench icons from the swatches??? I saw a mod that did that but it was only for clothes not other sections in CAS and in buy/build mode.

Huh? Removing the wrench from the swatches is exactly what this mod is doing.

I mean instead of having the + symbol on the swatches have it to where it removes the wrench all together. It only removes the wrench in the thumbnail icon i mean the actual swatch themselves (colors).

Please go to the thread that is linked in the first post (more technical info etc) for more info if you want to modify it. Should be very simple since all you need to do is export the texture, remove the plus, and convert back + import again.

To find existing other mods please use Discussion > Where Can I Find.

Thank you for this! Is there a way to turn that blue wrench badge ON rather than off, too? I have lots of CC but the only place little wrenches showed up for me after the recent patch is on thumbnails (which I've now swapped out using one of the mods in this post). I'd love it if the badge showed up on the primary thumbnail too but I can't seem to activate it. Is it perhaps a Windows only thing?

You mean like in the screenshot with the yellow wood wall? That is "wrench-override.package", the original upload. That one only edits the icons on the swatches, not on the thumbnail.

I'll go add descriptions to the files, I see that this is a little unclear now that I've added more versions.

Yes, that's what I have installed, but even prior to implementing that mod no blue wrench badges were appearing on my CC, only the white wrenches on swatches. I probably have some other mod installed that's inadvertently disabling the badge.

Maybe, yes. There is not only the wrench in that file, and older UI mods (where the wrench didn't exist yet) may very well interfere here. Test without CC etc.

Hi! I'm kind of a newbie....to Sims4 anyway I am also tired of that big wrench, and I think this change is awesome! I just have a (newbie) question: Which one of the 5 files should I download? Or should I download all 5? Thank you so much for all your great stuff!

Please update this to the 6/2/16 Patch! It breaks the UI! I need this back in my life the normal CC wrench icons make me cry ;-;

This mod definitely breaks UI buttons and the options menu after the June 2nd patch. Using CC is a pain in the butt without it!

Just went through the process of elimination with all my cc, and yup, I can confirm that this mod does break the UI with the June 2nd patch.

Yeah, this mod is causing a bizarre distortion with the UI as a result of yesterday's (June 2nd) patch. I pulled this mod and the problem was fixed. Hope it gets updated soon.
