Ok i downloaded thoose guitars. I got them ingame But if i place them they Dont have a Stand and they Give me loads of errors

If a guitar doesn't have a stand and appears lying on the floor, this means that you are missing the needed amplifier to go with that particular guitar; not all the guitars need a special amplifier; but each guitar should be packed with its own amplifier (if needed).
Please redownload the malfunctioning guitars and be sure to install all the packages contained in the archive.

you are missing the IbanezTalmanAcousticGuitar (deco) that hangs on the wall, here is the mesh and 5 recolors.

Thread Update!

21 June 2007 - ADDED: *Decorative* wall-hanging Ibanez Talman Acoustic guitar + recolours (all fixed by Numenor). See Post #2.

Many thanks to Rhondalatte for the finding!

Both the main mesh and the recolours needed to be fixed, because this seems to be a very early creation by Atavera, and the packages had an outdated structure. Therefore, I suggest to redownload, even if you already have this guitar.

Atavera (retired) and Atavera are unattended accounts: do not send PM nor try to contact them; post your question on the proper threads, instead.

Since Atavera has retired from modding, no support is granted on his creations.

When I use the Green Day guitar, the game freezes unless I exit the lot and not save the game! I don't get it. help.

I tested all the guitars in my basegame+UNI game, and they all worked, including the green day. I don't know if it may conflict with some other object you have in your Downloads...

Did atavera ever provide any tutorial on how to make these neon signs?　I find no specific tut about neon signs in this forum or any others as far as I know

anyone has any idea??

No, there is no tutorial. But Atavera's creation are in the public domain: you can clone freely one of the signs (the one that gives the "light" that you like most) and change the mesh to suit your needs.

I love all of these, although I have one problem, Before my game was completely utterly destroyed by a virus I used to have a telecaster guitar that I found on modthesims2 but I cannot find it anywhere.

Could somebody help? I used to love that guitar.

Hey,
Just thought id ask the community if they can help me with some problems with Avatera's guitars...
Ive been having the same problem as kurl_leifson. The flying V, Dean Razorback & Dean Dime From Hell guitars wont turn up!
there in the catalog but when trying to place them in the game all i have is a stand and an amp!
Does anyone know a solution to this?

I used to have a complete recording studio set... I'm almost sure it was created by Atavera... not 100% sure though... here are some screenshots to help out... I hope someone still has this somewhere and it can be uploaded and shared once again for those who lost it like myself.

I've found the objects... although they aren't the ones from Atavera... they're files from Sims2Tech... did they have an account here? Are these files able to be re-uploaded? Can someone let me know because I have the entire set saved to DVD-R!!! *(Thank heavens for back-up!!)

There is a "Sims2Tech" user here (he registered in Feb 2007), but he didn't post anything.
If you can't contact him in any way, I don't think you can repost his stuff here: a permission is always needed.

However, you could at least send a PM to our user Sims2Tech, just to check if - by chance - he is "the" Sims2Tech we are looking for :P
