Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Yakima-jiro park is fun for the whole family! Take a nature stroll, have a picnic, enjoy a dip in the double jacuzzi or in the underground pool, shop on the upper floors of the four-story pagoda, relax on the lower ones, or play a game of chess on the emerald deck.

Yakima-jiro is part III of the Shozen series. Check the Residential Lot Downloads for other parts.
  • No EP required
  • Hack-free
  • Includes some of the wallpapers in my upcoming Dark Shoji series
  • Tested with a sim, who gets around just fine
  • My Ultimate Architecture Tutorial can be found here.

Warning: It's BIG. I've got a modern setup, and it's a bit slow for me. Slow computers beware.

Let me know how you like it, and what you think of the eight-sided pagoda: Does that work, aesthetically?

And if you really like it, please give it a good rating.

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Surely, the pagoda roof is a killer.
But, what else kill me are the style and woody coloration.

If I could make one, I'd be gonna try to modernise or colourise this style a bit to see what it's like

Anyhow, I'm the type of people who like mix things up!

Excellent work! I was wondering how to do oriental style roofs. Very good job.

Is the glass half empty or half full? Who cares when the glass is broken.

If you post your work on the Maxis site it becomes the property of Maxis. That's why people post here, so their work remains theirs!
