This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
This is a featured upload! It showcases the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Merry Christmas!

This is my Christmas present for all who like to play the Sims with my vehicles!
In the last hours of Christmas 2006 I don't want to forget to upload this vehicle.
Have fun with it and let your Sims have their special Christmas with this object.

The sleigh is made to be used with Nightlife!

Statistics: Vertices: 14 590 (1216 per tile)
Faces: 9 494 ( 791 per tile)

Please, decide yourself whether you can use it or not. It works fine in my game!
You'll find this object in the collection of cars.
It uses some changed animations, while the horse isn't animated yet!

You may recolour the vehicle, if you like and use it in all your buildings/lots.
I would like to use your upcoming lots with this object, so please upload them to this site, too.
Please don't upload it to the Exchange and don't change the mesh or it's copyright!

Used software:
SimPE; UV-mapper; PaintShopPro; Milkshape

Mesh handmade by hexameter, 2006

Credits to Quaxi for SimPE to Numenor for CEP to Maxis for the object it is cloned of!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

You obviously belong to those who don't read the descriptions of the objects?
Well, the answer can be read: Animations of the horse are not available yet!
In spite of that, have much fun with it, if you want to use the vehicle!

Well, I don't know exactly what is meant with "it was a real horse not a fake one". All the animals in game are faked, aren't they?
If you want to have horses I think it's no problem to search in this site. There is even a very beautiful featured horse of Dragon Slave in the first download site.

Hey guys... those stories you see of sims riding horses are mocked up. In one frame, they pose some sims on a horse. and the next frame, toss the sim off (themselves) and take a snapshot. Dragonslave and Surinam and Hexameter all have made horses. There are probably more creators but I don't know of them.

NONE OF THESE horses are animated. Yet. Personally, I'd love to have a horse that moved around like the dogs on PETS. I am not a programmer, so I don't know how to take apart the dogs code to see how to change their shape and apply the dog animations to a horse. There is a lot of work involved in creating stuff.

p.s. Out of curiosity, I will go over to Sims2 and see if I can find the 'real horse' you're talking about.

Anway,.. CHEERS to hexameter for SANTA SLEIGH! Yippee!

Don't worry, Porkypine, enjoy it this year.
As every year I was busy until the last days before Christmas when I uploaded it and it will be the same this year, I fear.
Thanks for the nice comment and Merry Christmas!

Maybe instead of a horse, you should ask DragonSalve to make a reindeer(soory if I spelt that wrong) so you can have a reindeer pull the sliegh instead making the poor horse work in winter. Anyway, thanks! It's awesome

hexameter, now that someone has made a ridable animated horse from Dragon Slave`s horse statue, would you consider colaborating to use those animations for your sleigh`s horse? That`d be cool! It`d also be cool if you could make your sleigh`s horse pick up recolor options from Dragon Slave`s horse, as the ridable one does. Even better is if you could do both at once!

This object was started in summer 2006. Dragon Slave's horse is from Nov 2007. So you have the reason why it is made this way. As it was featured the way it was made I don't want to make any changes on it. It was OK at that time.
Rebecah, who created the ridable horse you talk about, Dragon Slave and me changed ideas about your suggestion already in the beginning of 2007. We spent a lot of time in such a project. But the animations of vehicles work totally different from the horse and the structure of the objects are different.
At least for me it's impossible to do it like you want. I simply have not the skills to do so. And I cannot and don't want to do it "at once". Sorry.

But you and everybody else is welcome to make the changes (in any cart of mine) according to my policies that allow to use my objects.
I would be very happy to see the results, of course, as I failed so often with it. Much success!

Ah, well, it was an idea, a suggestion, not a request.

Even if you do neither, rather than both, it is still a wonderful object.

Thank you for considering my notion.

...and I didn`t mean "at once" as in "immediately"; I meant "at once" as in "simultaneously". I apologize if I confused you.

Ohhh, foreign languages ... Thanks for clarification, stupid me.
In spite of that I also still dream of these improvements.

"Ohhh, foreign languages ... Thanks for clarification": you`re welcome.

Yeah, comparative linguistics can be interesting, I do believe. So many words and phrases mean so many different things that it`s a wonder that we aren`t misunderstood more often.

"In spite of that I also still dream of these improvements.": maybe someday; maybe someday.
