This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.
Updated for Pets and patch and tested in game

I received an inquiry about a single tile door, so I modified the EA's double sliding door. When I was at it, I also made a version with half glass and without glass.

The simple doors are suitable for tight spaces, such as toilets.
The door is still a "2-tile door. For that the sims should not go through the wall, it is useful to place an item in which they are not attending as shown in the picture. You have to use 'moveObjects on' for it.

All doors have four color channels and costs $ 295

Polygon Counts:
Full glass door: 364 vertices and 224 faces
Half glass door: 361 vertices and 233 faces
No glass door: 365 vertices and 235 faces

Additional Credits:
I want to thank EA for the game, the developers of the tools I use and the autors of tutorials

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Don't forget to Thank the creator after downloading! Use the Thanks button located above the screenshots above.
Quick Guide:

1. Click the file listed on the Files tab to download the file to your computer.
2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file. Now you will have either a .package or a .sims3pack file.

For Package files:

1. Cut and paste the file into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages folder. If you do not already have this folder, you should read the full guide to Package files first: Sims 3:Installing Package Fileswiki, so you can make sure your game is fully patched and you have the correct Resource.cfg file.
2. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

For Sims3Pack files:

1. Cut and paste it into your Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Downloads folder. If you do not have this folder yet, it is recommended that you open the game and then close it again so that this folder will be automatically created. Then you can place the .sims3pack into your Downloads folder.
2. Load the game's Launcher, and click on the Downloads tab. Find the item in the list and tick the box beside it. Then press the Install button below the list.
3. Wait for the installer to load, and it will install the content to the game. You will get a message letting you know when it's done.
4. Run the game, and find your content where the creator said it would be (build mode, buy mode, Create-a-Sim, etc.).

Extracting from RAR, ZIP, or 7z: You will need a special program for this. For Windows, we recommend 7-Zip and for Mac OSX, we recommend Keka. Both are free and safe to use.

Thanks! I love these for patios and backyards but a 2 tile door makes it hard to place stuff.

Mhmm, I dont know if this would be worth a shot, but do the doors have their own animations? If so, wouldn't it be easier to apply the animation to a 1 tile door instead?

Yes, the door have animation. I've tried to make them 1 tile but the door takes 2 tiles to work.

I'm trying to say that if you need the door to be truly one-tile would have to repackage a 1 tile door with the meshes, and depending on which way the door slides you would want to pull that animation. For instance, if the door slides to the left I believe the piece you would look for would be o2a(?)slidingdoor_l or something like that. I'm assuming there's a right and left animation for the door, I can't tell because I'm on a phone at the moment and have no other internet connection.

Download and install 7-zip. It's free and the best compressing program for now. It can handle zip, rar and 7z files.

Could you make a door that flys up or splits in half? That would be cool.

These will go great in homes where I have limited space and don't want doors to be in the way when they open. Thank you very much!
