Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Please note: I found a problem with the original lot; sometimes fish would appear in the sub-basement. This problem has been fixed. Please redownload if you experience fish.

From the outside, this looks like a tiny little house. But, it's bigger than it looks.

When you enter the house, you'll find an open-format great room with a living room, dining room, and kitchen. Off of the kitchen is a powder room. There's a large screen TV with ample seating to entertain your guests and dining space for three. Appliances and fixtures are top of the line throughout.

Down a flight of stairs in the real basement (no slope), you'll find the large master bedroom with ensuite bath. This is a more private area with a couch for napping, an easel for expressing your creativity, and a desk for your computer. If you have lockable doors, you can lock this room away to keep it private.

But there's more! Down another flight of stairs in the no-slope sub-basement, you'll find a party room, with chess table, bar, dart board, exercise equipment and hot tub. For your convenience, an additional powder room is tucked away under the porch.

This is a perfect house for a single person who loves to host small intimate parties. Note that some pets cannot navigate 2-click stairs, so this may not be the best lot if you have a family pet.

Lot Size: 1x1
Lot Price: $67,364

Basic Download and Install Instructions:

1. Download: Click the download link to save the .rar or .zip file(s) to your computer.

2. Extract the zip, rar, or 7z file.

3. Install: Double-click on the .sims2pack file to install its contents to your game. The files will automatically be installed to the proper location(s).
  • You may want to use the Sims2Pack Clean Installer instead of the game's installer, which will let you install sims and pets which may otherwise give errors about needing expansion packs. It also lets you choose what included content to install. Do NOT use Clean Installer to get around this error with lots and houses as that can cause your game to crash when attempting to use that lot. Get S2PCI here: Clean Installer Official Site.

Thanks for helping me, Last night I figured it out.

When it is done I will put it up on Mod The Sims and it
will be my first one!

The house I was going to turn into a basement is not the house I used.

I will put that house up too! the one that isn't the basement.

Happy Building

My new custom hood, Norrington, and all its subhood, are in low lying areas. I am now off to add a high altitude subhood, just to play this home. Thank you ever so!!

Did you have problems with the lot on low-lying areas? Even though I know that it can be a problem, I haven't personally had a lot of problems, even though I tend to play with fairly low-lying terrain.

As long as you're not having problems, I wouldn't worry about it.

To a certain extent, this is just a problem with the game that can't be solved. I found that any more than 2 underground levels was impossible to play. However, I didn't have any problems playing two levels with the standard in-game camera. If you're having problems, perhaps you should try a camera mod, to allow different angles in the game.
