THANKS POST
#51 Old 18th Jan 2015 at 5:50 PM
Many thanks for your modes !!! Not only this, but all the others!
One request (if you have not asked) - Could you make sure that the option "talk to the plant" (and also "Fertilizer Plant") (do not know how these functions are called in English) also act on all the plants in the garden (fertilizer could make: choose a plant, then choose a plant or fish that want to use as a fertilizer (the number of which is greater than or equal to the plants in the garden) and the sim itself fertilizes all the plants selected fertilizer).
If at all possible, of course.
For the "talk" I think it is possible, since there are no more options, and windows as a fertilizer.
But if possible, it would be nice to and fertilization took place "automatically".
With respect and gratitude for your work, Ann.

Does it include faster gardening? Or do I have to download faster gardening separately? Sorry, maybe it's just me but it's not that clear to me.

This mod has been checked with the latest game patch (Feb 3, 2015) and no changes are required.

Will it conflict with Scumbumbo's Faster Gardening?

Yes, if you install them separately. Download the Evolve Plants version that includes Faster Gardening (EvolveAll_FasterGardening_v2.rar) and remove the old Faster Gardening from your mods folder.

Also get the Outdoor Retreat add-on in addition to the base mod if you have that game pack.

I installed the EvolveAll_FasterGardening_v2.rar and EvolveAll_OutdoorRetreat_v2.rar but I have to click on the outdoor retreat plants individually to evolve them still. When I click on one of the outdoor plants it will evolve that one and then the base game plants, but no other of the new plants.

The mod is amazing, it has definitely sped up gardening phenomenally but I, like PsychoSim99, downloaded both the base and the Outdoor Retreat mods and I still have to evolve them all individually. Still an amazing mod, thank you so much!

Checked on this tonight and I missed a lot of the plants in Outdoor Retreat somehow. The Outdoor Retreat Add-On has been updated to version 3 and now includes all of the plants from the Outdoor Retreat game pack.

I have been using this mod for a while, and I love it, but I just had an issue where when I graft one plant onto another, it doesn't show that it's been done, and then, like, three of the spliced plant start growing on top of the plant I grafted it onto. It's bizarre. I was using Evolve All v2 and the OR add on, I took them both out, and I was able to graft properly. I don't graft much in the game, so I don't know when this started happening. I'll post a picture if I can reproduce it.

I'll see if I can reproduce this. I haven't done any splicing in ages, but AFAIK nothing's changed in the game regarding the splicing. The mod doesn't touch any of the splicing interactions, so this seems like it could be another issue. I'll double check the plant objects to make sure those didn't change without me noticing.

EDIT - Splicing seems to be working for me. @freaklegg - Let me know if you discover anything new.

Plants Can't Be Evolve and Harvest
Thanks for this wonderful mod. I love it, it's very helpful and useful.

Two things I like to let you know: 1.) The Intergalactic Growth Pod Plant (UFO) can not be evolve when I choose to "tend garden". I have to evolve it separately from the rest of the plants. 2.) The Death Flower have to be harvest separately, it will not get harvest with "Harvest All" option.

Note: I have both EvolveAll Faster Gardening v2 and EvolveAll Outdoor Retreat v3 in my mods folder.

Maybe when you have time you can take a look at it, thanks very much.

Thanks for your amazing work!

I have both EvolveAll Faster Gardening v2 and EvolveAll Outdoor Retreat v3, but I don't see any speeding up with weeding. Watering does go faster. I don't have any other mods installed.

With only the Faster Gardening Mod v3 installed I see some speeding up of weeding, but some plants take the normal time. (For example, one grape vine gets weeded fast, the other slow). It's a little weird.

At first I thought you were imagining things, but your mentioning that some plants would take longer to weed than others made me take another look at the mod. That indicated to me that you were probably actually paying attention and maybe something really was wrong.

It's been wrong since the beginning! I'm amazed no one ever noticed before - I'd thought a couple of times that weeding seemed to be taking a long time, but thought I was probably imagining things.

Turns out that I mistakenly assumed that when energized it would "boost" the speed of weeding by 'x' amount, but that number wasn't a boost it was a replacement for if the sim was energized. So my guess is you probably had a plant near something that would boost your sim into an energized mood and that's why that plant took longer.

I've updated the mod (and the original Faster Gardening) with the fix. Weeding while energized should no longer take longer than when not energized! Be sure to delete the old version of the mod if you update.
