Just wondering how they work. Do the sims just stand on them and they are lifted up? I just want 2 know before i down load for my futuristic house!

They work like regular stairs. The sims will use them to go between floors.

Please don't PM me with questions. Post them in the appropriate thread.

Hi Targa! I continue using your object in spite of the new elevator (too big). The only issue I would like to report is the fact that Sims can stay on the steps or just walk in for doing nothing. Is it possible to add the impossibility () to stand on the steps?

Thanks.

Default Works fine with pets, updated CEP files
I absolutely love these stairs. Every building in my game has been modified to remove stairs and replace them with targa stairs, sims climb regular stairs SOO SLOWLY! These make multi-story buildings so much more playable!

I had only NL and Uni installed; no stuff packs, no OFB, so my CEP files were older. So I updated those.

After enabling cc, restart the game.

these are a must have download!

For those who love these as much as I do:
These work with Pets just as they used to
EXCEPT: Pets treat them as normal, although invisible (and ocasionally going through wall depending on if you've placed them very close to a wall) stairs
I'm willing to put up with this just so I can play all my houses again (replaced all the stairs with these ages ago )
But Targa, if you happen to have some spare time on your hands, you might want to look into an update

My mind never wanders, it packs it's backpack, puts on it's boots and goes on a mountain hike.

Time to tell you thanks if I forget before
Just to tell you a strange animation we have with the pets expansion pack. The pets climb up and down like a normal stair This don't make any error in the game
(It's just look funny )

Absolutely awesome! Will save so much time and give more space that stairs were taking. Not that I'll forever stop using stairs but this is quite handy. Thanks so much

thank you

What about the thousands of wonderful men and women who are fighting this war without any of the credit or the glory that always goes to those lucky few who just happen to get shot?

Well, I just downloaded these... Hope the pets thing is fixed..
If not, I'll put a locking gate in front of it, and lock to disallow pets!
I hate when they go upstairs anyway.

Thanks. I love your ascension stairs, I downloaded both the square and the circular version 1. I love them, I used them in just about every house I built, it saves so much space. The ascension stairs (both square and circular) work perfectly when sims want to go up. However, when teenage sims and children sims want to go down, sometimes their actions got cancelled automatically. They became frozen at the top of the stair, causing the school bus or car pool disappeared. This happened at all the lot I played. Does anyone experience the same thing?
