Is there any chance you could alter this hack to affect normal Sims bitten by a Vampire while someone is using Shaklin's Vampire Mod? The Sim acts exactly like they've been Vamped, despite the fact they were not Vamped.

1. If you can't respect another's POV, you have no right to complain when he doesn't respect yours.
2. If you can't tell the difference between Real Life and a Game, seek professional help.

Are you saying that Shaklin's hack is making your normal sims walk like vampires?

Thank you so much. I got so annoyed when my sim vampire started walking around like some vaudeville villain. :D

I recall reading somewhere that Pets has werewolves, if so I wouldn't be surprised if they use a locomotion overlay similar to that of vampires, and if so this would most likely be the BHAV that the code would be added to. Just speculation on my part, but if thats the case it would probably cause undesired results or errors, or even have the effect of making werewolves walk normal. Anyway if you have Pets you can try it and see if it works, I don't think that anything disasterous will happen, and you can always exit the lot without saving, if it does cause an error.

A little late on the up-take here, but anyway:

Yes the werewolves have their own walk and it drives me nuts. I guess I wouldn't mind quite as much if a) it wasn't so exaggerated, b) it was thought out better, but as it is the way they carry their plates I'm surprised it doesn't fall crashing to the floor, and they walk normally up/down stairs If this does make them walk normal that'd be a huge bonus!

*goes off to test*

EDIT: It doesn't affect werewolves I only hope it's not like the zombies where it'd be hard-coded or whatever else. Still, no errors popping up, haven't tested on a vampire yet but no reason why there should be any problem (I hope!).

Please don't PM/IM me with requests

This hack is gret. It's works on my sims, but as you wrote not on the count/countess. But nice work! Getting tired of that arm.....And the 'bleh'sound...

They looked so dorky with theirs arms up while wearing normal clothes! Only Lugosi can pull that off, and the count is a close second as long as you let him keep his cape.

luv,

What is a game override list and what does that mean? I would really like to get this mod, can anyone say who has it, are you happy with it? Does it cause problems in your game? I suppose none of you will be back in here, no need to.. Shoot.. Maybe I'll try it, I see there have been no words in along time, but I know a bunch of us would really like this.... If it has troubles I'll post them for others who come in here for the first time..

I don't know if this thread is still being watched, but I thought I'd post my experience with this mod. I have Double Deluxe, University, Seasons and Free Time, and when I installed this, my game performance slowed to a jerky crawl. When I removed it, everything was back to normal. Has anyone else had this happen?

It is irritating how they walk like that. In other Vampire Films, according to ghosty12's comment, they don't walk like that. Even in Twilight. Maybe it's just a Simlish Vampire habit that all Simlish Vampires are supposed to have. I'll try this out and see what happens. Thanks!
