This is a Maxis Recolour which means that it is a recolour of an item that already exists in your game. Please check the Expansion pack requirements to see which game pack it recolours.
Picked Upload! This is a picked upload! It showcases some of the best talent and creativity available on MTS and in the community.
Hi everyone!

With the help of two lovely people that I really can't thank enough, I finally have a default skin set to offer you.

Three cheers to Angelyne and SleepycatDSL – without whom I could never have done this.

Please, read below:

1 – These skins will show up instead of the Maxis defaults in your game. Before copying them to your download folder, I advice that you remove any other skin defaults.

2 – I will not send any of the hairstyles shown in the pictures (I mention this only because I receive so many requests for them... but they're not mine)

3 – The eye colours are not included this time. I have a default set coming up, so be patient.

4 – These skins have nipples but not genitals.

5 – Feel free to upload these with your Sims on non-pay sites, but include credits to Angelyne, SleepycatDSL and myself or a link to this thread where credits are given, as well as make sure to warn people that they are defaults.

Thank you – and enjoy!

You must have the expansion or stuff packs listed below installed to use this custom content. Please see the post text for any exceptions.

Enayla...thank you so much for the default skins. They are truly a work of art--and even some of the ugliest NPCs are more tolerable to look at now.

Now there is only one problem to our games--the Strangetown aliens look horribly flat and lifeless compared to everyone else. I see that you are working on an alien skin, based on the anamoly pixie skin maybe?

Please say you are making a default version for alien skin, possibly without the anamoly make-up facial markings? The actual color is gorgeous. Love your work that would greatly appreciate it! p.s. the new pixie skins are awesome, and can't wait to make someone new with them.

I'd love to use these awesome skins, but my aliens would be so flat and ugly compared to the rest, so I'm still hopefully waiting on an alien default replacement. ^^

Thanks a lót for all the great skins and eyes you already made! :D

Default A legend.
It's sure you will be in the "Mod2sims" Memories, as the best skins creator never seen. Someone should think about putting your name in a encyclopedia or something. ... Waw, I'm being a little too nice to you. I should stop.

Anyway, thanks.

Well, I saw that Missygjo made a default for your first alien-colored skin in the Horror collection (unearthly jade, I believe it is called). I had never noticed it before, since I didn't have need for scary-skins, therefore never looked at those ones. Now my aliens look fabulous, with one exception. She put a green default eye for the alien eyes that pop up when the alien hits teen. It was supposed to be a seperate download, but my teen aliens all have green eyes now. *sigh* Supposedly, they are your eyes, but I have a hard time believing it since they look weird in game.

But speaking of eyes, and I hope you read this now and then, I was wondering if maybe the S2 or S3 skin may have an eye attached to it that overrides the original eye? Okay, let me explain. I've only seen it in Strangetown (how fitting!), but I went into a dorm, and one of my tanned YA males suddenly didn't have blue eyes anymore, he had a dark grey or bronze-colored eyes. I was totally shocked. He looks REALLY handsome, but not like he looked before. I went to another dorm, and Ripp Grunt's daughter had the same eyes! Hmm. Well, Ripp's eyes are the same, but the father and sister of the first sim I mentioned have those eyes now too. Very strange. And I can't really get upclose enough to really tell what color it is exactly, because it is a very dark shade, but I would say it most closely resembles your dark bronze or midnight eyes.

Anyone else have this happening? I'm not complaining since the change has made them look incredibly realistic, so I'm more surprised than anything. All I can think of is that when I was going through my custom stuff, I was deleting colors and styles I didn't really like. Maybe they had one of the eyes that I deleted...although that doesn't really explain how they could end up with Enayla eyes or how Celeste Grunt could get them either, as her mother is Chloe Singles, but she took after Ripp. I can only guess it would have to be attached to the skin somehow.

My explorer says the "normal" replacement is invalid or corrupt before I even get it downloaded. Anyone else having this problem?

Enayla, I've been a fan of your work ever since I've first heard of you from a family friend. I've seen your work on GFX Artist, then your official site, and I must say your work is absolutely spectacular. Your creativity and effort, and talent never cease to amaze me. And when I first found out you were here, I grew extremely excited. I am blown away by your incredible body shop works. Your eyes, skins... all so incredibly beautiful. you have an eye for talent and creativity, and you are just so, so wonderfully awesome! I will now add you to one of my all time favorite creators, keep up the incredible work!

I love, I love, I love all the work you've done for us. And you! Thank you!

Oh, and to quote a couple users!

there's nothing wrong with having your male sims put lipstick on. I actually have all my male sims wear lipstick (well, pale/nude lipsticks anyway) since it literally brightens it up a little bit, since without it their lips will look dull. Same goes with their overall face, a little bit of pale blush will brighten their face up too. And trust me, they will turn out to be much better looking that way.

Well, tried them ingame, and boy are they shiny. The only problem with that is that they look very strange on the fugly Maxis townies, what with their ginormo fish lips and boulder-size cheekbones (or lack thereof). They do look fantastic on the pretty sims though. Damn those fugly townies, ruining all my plans.

lmao. I totally agree. The default townies are absolutely ugly. All of my own created sims (and downloaded ones) are definitely pretty. I will even go as far as making my Uni sims pretty too. It'll be easier on my eyes, and I don't want to run the risk of having ugly kids too. lol.

I'm downloading these again after finally getting my game to reinstall. I am having the corrupt archive problem with the Autumn skin tone. I always loved this set so I'm hoping this is a temporary issue. I've been googling to find them on another non-pay site but haven't seen them yet. Anyone else?

ETA: So I tried downloading file and installing three times and got corrupt archive each time. Just now on the fourth try the file installed with no problems. I don't know if the link is somehow different now that I'm viewing full comments (unlikely) or if it was some weird glitch that went away after a few tries (more likely) but hoepfully it helps others with the same issue.

If anyone is still having the corrupt archive or transfer problems, just keep retrying the download. It works better through a download manager such as the DOwnload them All extension for Firefox (there's a tutorial somewhere on this site for configuring the plug in appropriately for MTS). Eventually you WILL get the files. If you've installed CCleaner, try running that before attempting to download and unrar.
