This is a new mesh, and means that it's a brand new self contained object that usually does not require a specific Expansion pack (although this is possible depending on the type). It may have Recolours hosted on MTS - check below the description for more information.

A bit of playing around with MilkShape 1.7.4 to see what I can do with it. All textures applied within MilkShape.
This is a Welsh Dresser with antique blue and white china probably fake from ebay.

As above moddled in MilkShape 1.7.4
cloned from the 'Tibetan Desk' so I could play around with the brass fittings
Imported useing Miche and Delphy Mesh Tool and SimPE 35b

EP Ready
Colour enabled for the wood
Colour enabled for the plates *Updated 22May05*
4168 polygons still bellow the debated 5000

In game it is located in surfaces/desks I could not find a way of moving it into surfaces miscellaneous. Other decrotive objects can be placed on it.

Thanks to all at modthesims2 for giving me hours of fun and frustration.

Taken onboard all your comments thank you very much so have spent the morning updating the package file to enable the plates to be coloured seperatly although the shape of the meat plate and jug will stay the same as part of the mesh. I have tested it and it does recolour on my system so feel free to recolour as you wish. You will have to download it again and copy it to where you placed it as it has its own GUID it will just overwrite the origonal if any problems please post. Once again thank you all

I've just uploaded some recolours to our web site http://www.aussietopenders-sims2.com/
Some cream and warm toned timbers. If whiter is preferred or someone can send me samles of Cherry oak I'll have a go. It's a dream to recolour, though I was cursing Gromit as I was learning how to do the plates LOL (it's ok Gromit, I loves ya now). I may try uploading some here, if I can find the place and navigate all the RULES LOL.
The plates are interchangeable between dressers, so I made each set different. You can place objects on the 'bottom' shelf, at desk height

Is anyone else having problems with the downloads or is it just me? I have been trying since 1:00 am this morning and can't seem to get the links to work.

I tried to download the object, but when I tried to unzip it w/ Winrar, an error message came up saying the operation was broken, or something like that. Any ideas? Also, if you're considering doing recolors, would you mind doing something in a medium olive green? I'd really appreciate it!

Oh, thank you, thank you! My Dad made one of these for the house, and it always makes me feel so cosy. Now I can have one in my house in the Sims - you're wonderful!

Why have I not favorited this, until now?, I asked myself. Because it's not like I don't download this, every time I decide to play Sims 2.
