Thankyou. Back to back fireplaces without huge chimneys taking up a lot of space and being able to have fireplaces in different positions around the house.
Well done.

Good stuff! The chimneys are icky - esp if you have medieval sims like I do and the bricks just look so wrong!

Lol, I've been disliking a lot of stupid chimneys poking through some of my multilevel modern buildings.
Maxis just didn't provide an option to silence the chimney...

So, thanks for making and sharing this...

Absolutely Marvelous!! Thank you very much! Will be much nicer when realizing a fireplace is needed and not 'taking out' furniture & floor space above!! Much gratitude!!

Well this gets a high vote from me! I've been asking about chimney-less fireplaces for a while, because I needed one DESPERATELY for my beach house. Thanks so much!

what a good idea - makes houses so much more compact as well - I have a house with three useless "rooms" I can now get rid of!

Waiting for Sims4 so I can go all Halliwell again!!

You are a Sim life saver, I get so frustrated when placing fireplaces. I usually avoid them or I build the fireplace first then have to design the house around the chimney! I hate that. Thanks for the freedom you've give us.

Ooh, I bet this would work as a cool indoor firepit for medieval homes if the mantle and stuff around were removed or made invisible. I may try it for my own nefarious purposes. :-)
Thank you!

OMG thank you for this! I've always hated the ugly chimmeys and having to build around them.

Thank you! This is such a great idea! Maxis chimneys are so hard to work around.

I only have the base game, so I'll let you know if it works for me.

Thanks for sharing this with us--this is a great idea. Those stupid brick chimneys can be a real pain. . .this is a wonderful solution!

I looove these fireplaces. And they do work with the burn forever hack, which I'm sure u've figured out by now considering that was a long time ago. Anywho, do u plan on making the 3rd maxis fireplace as well? That one is my second fav and I'm sure other people would enjoy it as well. Unless someone else has made it, but I can't find it.
