Thanks for the nice words. The board and batten shutters were difficult because of the way things had to be made in Sims...I ended up where the right became left and the left became right...depending on the view..and so...They could only go on single windows...not double and triple like the others can. I hope you have an easier time. I suspect it will be easier with actual 3Ds....

I made those also for the same size windows as the others. I'd love to have a set of those if you would like to make them. I am going to try to send you the artwork I had prepared for shutters. There are all sorts of styles and colors in this ... I was dissapointed when I made just one set that they didn't turn out as nice as in Sims 1, but I was defeated by the 3d thing. Never worked in 3d...

It is not any trouble to zip the file but it's MTS2 format prefered(rar). If we all uploaded rar and zip packages as it is asked alot we would be using up a lot of extra space that our creations could use... I hope you understand I state this in the kindest ways...

These look like an ideal candidate for the functioning open/close hack! If you feel like inserting those into the copy of the opening/closing curtains I sent you, you could offer those as an alternative

I am going to release the curtains publicly tonight. I was waiting a little while cos Numenor wanted to experiment with another way of doing it, but unfortunately it made the file size bigger, so I think it's better to stick to what we did so far.

Whenever I try to download these absolutely fabulous shutters, nothing happens. I don't get the open/save/cancel dialogue. What gives?

Do you get a sort of no-entry sign at the bottom of your window? When I have my pop-up blocker on sometimes I can't download forum attachments and then I have to right-click on them and say "open in new window"

Okay, it works now. I closed the browser, then re-opened it. Something must have wigged out. Thanks for the tip, though! My new OS has a built-in pop-up blocker, and that could be what freaked.

The Board & Batten Shutter (Small Left) has a problem. When you place the shutter; it is not on the same tile, instead it one tile to left. I hope that I describe it right. Try place both the left and right shutter on same tile yourself; you will see the problem. The other Board & Batten Shutter work fine.

Hey I know this is an old thread but I just found the shutters. These are great and I don't need to download a ton of different window sets to have shutters. Thanks!! If you are still working on these, are you interested in doing them in some Mediterranean colors like a sunny bright blue or a lighter green and of course white - or maybe worn looking for tropical houses?
